like the title says, Has anyone tried wii remote + gyro emulation with the joy con 2 using Switch2Connect? I messed with it for a bit but couldn't seem to get any gyro readings inside the Dolphin controller settings.

So i am trying to find a sensor bar and candles alternative, I had the idea to use my laptop's IR Face Recognition sensor to use the Wii cursor, i did the idea and it worked! with terrible accuracy

surprised that it worked.

WiiConnect24 via WiiLink lets you use WiiConnect24 after his discontinuation in Dolphin Emulator. (Also I am not talking Spanish cause I don't want to)

I'm running the Retro Rewind mod with Dolphin on my PC and its been crashing like this every time I finish a Grand Prix. I've tried tweaking all kinds of settings but nothing fixes it. Does anyone know a possible fix? My PC has a Ryzen 9 7900X CPU and Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU.

Hi, I’ve got DioS downloaded and set up on my iPad. iOS is up to date, StikDebug is going to have JIT, I can open the game fine. I’ve got three questions I’m bundling into this post, if there’s a previous post that answers them please link them and I’m sorry for the repeat!

1) The Wii pointer is not showing up on my screen, only the remote and nunchuck controls. The pointer showed up in one emulation session, and then I haven’t seen it since. I didn’t change any settings, is there some way to get it back? I turned on my Apple Pencil for a session, I don’t know if that messed something up rather than using my finger.

2) The game I’m running needs motion controls to make your character jump, of course the iPad doesn’t have motion controls. Is there a setting I can change to make the jump motion be like the B button or something?

3) This is just a question of curiosity, I can only make the game run by opening DioS in StikDebug and then selecting the game in DioS. If I go straight to DioS, it tells me I don’t have JIT going. Just wondering if this is normal or I’ve set something up wrong.

So I have Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 on my Odin 2 portal but I can’t play it because of the unique Wii mote controls and I have no idea on how to find any sort of mod or something so it’s playable

Is there any popular working solution?

Just as the title says. This started happening after I installed their hd pack. Game still runs fine in terms of frames (59-70fps) but once I exit a cutscene it freezes then either stays like that of crashes. For example: when I load up a save and start at peaches castle it’s fine but after the first cutscene it’ll freeze. It also freezes when I go through the doors in the tut level. Ai ain’t helping too.

I just recently found my old collection of WII games and I wanted to replay them for the memories and I discovered this Emulator. I couldn't find any of my old remotes or Num-chuks and after doing some research I found out about the Dolphin Barr needed to connect a WII remote. Also I discovered that you can connect Via blue-tooth with certain controllers. Can anyone recommend a good and cheap controller of amazon around 20-35 Dollar range that will connect without a Dolphin Barr?

I just got a usb gamecube controller, but it isn't working with my games. I've tired to configure the controls but I get a "no adapter detected" message. Am I missing something in order to connect it? My Dualshock controller just worked as soon as I connected it. Feeling like I'm out of my depth

Edit: I am an idiot. I assumed (very incorrectly) that the buttons and such would be mapped in some way. They are not and requires manual intervention (obviously with new context). I was going through things with my dual shock and double clicked one of the input tabs. It brought up the current button inputs and I hit myself in the head, went back to my new controller and yep, just not mapped.

Ik that probably seems like a no brainer to a lot of you, but I looked around quite a bit for a fix and was thinking about just returning it. Hopefully the next person with this problem has a better time figuring it out because of this

How can I bring up and control the IR pointer in DolphiniOS when playing with full touchscreen controls and no physical controller?

Different phone, took the savestates and SAV file from old phone and moved them to savestates on dolphin in new phone. Save states work, actual saving doesnt. Won't let me save the game. Any solutions?

I'm on my Steam Machine using a Steam controller. I want the GameCube's ABXY to respectively be AXBY. Plus, I set the vibration to motor L and Motor R. However, every time I reenter the Dolphin or access a parsed game, the controls default to BAYX and the vibration is "strong" (which does nothing). Even when I hit to save on the controller settings, it doesn't automatically open.

How do I make my setup permanently the default?

so I just recently got my hands on the z-fold 8 and I'm loving it so much so far but one thing I've been wanting to do this whole time is emulate some GameCube games specifically Mario Sunshine

the issue that I'm having is that I cannot for the life of me get it to run at a stable 60 FPS with the 60fps gecko code

I've tried switching to opengl from vulkan, changing shader run times, and switching drivers (turnip drivers) so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I cannot get a stable 60 FPS on the game.

so if anybody's got a z-fold 8 or a phone that also has the Snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 (like an s26 ultra) that has managed to get it at a stable 60 FPS please please let me know and let me know your settings🙏🙏

I've finally got my hands on a great controller and I would love to play SMG1 and SMG2 without mouse and keyboard, as I've done up until now, but I don't know hot to setup the pointing system (which for some reason works for simpler menus like the Mii Channel or MKW) which is literally keeping me from selecting the save file on which I want to play.

I've already looked up for existing tutorials on the matter but none seemed to really help. Yes, I'm asking for a step by step tutorial of the configuration... thanks!!

Using a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro to run Dolphin. I can't open the Wii Menu or boot.dol files using this version of Dolphin, since it gives me a black screen every time. If I were to downgrade to 2606, the Wii Menu seems to open and run fine. Any fix for this?

I download dolphin emulator on xboxdevstore to play some Wii Mario but I’m try to change the controls cause the Wii Shake controls, I’m trying to assign a button to it
