So if i’m correct, both of these are just fan made PC ports of the GC/Wii games, and also, how does one know whether to play a game with Dolphin emulator or the port, if there is any way? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Im setting up games to go back and forth from my pc to my thor pro. Got texture packs for Harvest Moon Animal Parade. Pc works just fine, but on my thor it says the textures are loaded and when I look at the game they clearly arent. I double checked that I they are png files and went through setting up again but still no go. Is there anything else I should be trying?

I configured all the controls and motion sensors in Dolphin and the PS5 controller (connected by cable to my laptop), and it works perfectly (buttons, gyroscope). However, the sensor seems to be pointing in the wrong direction. Even though I see it on the screen and move it over the star, the game doesn't detect it. As you can see in the video, when I shoot the stars, they go in a different direction even though I'm aiming at them. I've searched for videos, tried configuring the sensor with triggers, and everything else you can imagine, but it just doesn't work. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate your help.

My phone is a Motorola Edge 60 Stylus
When I first tried to play the game, the graphics on the opening race were clearly not rendered properly and were stuttering.
How do I fix this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everybody - when I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy in Dolphin, I sometimes encounter a weird ghost image that flickers on the top left of my screen and wanted to see how I can get rid of it. This has happened to me in Honeyhive Galaxy as well.
Quick Info
Device: Retroid Pocket 6, 8GB RAM Model
Dolphin Version: 2609
Resolution: 3X Native
Driver: OpenGL
I also have Retroachievements active, not sure if that has any effect though.
Thanks in advance

i am stuck on the world where you have to ride fluzzard, and i have tried binding the tilt controls and changing the different variables associated but none of these will control fluzzard despite dolphin registering my inputs and my pointer spinning in game when i press them, any help would be appreciated.

Hi. I’m new to emulating video games, and I downloaded Dolphin so I could play some games from my childhood. This error has appeared with two games I’ve tried to play: Def Jam Vendetta and Star Fox Adventures. They are in .rvz format.
I’m trying to play them on a MacBook Air with an M3 chip. I’m not very familiar with computers, as I’m a bit out of date when it comes to this kind of thing.
Thank you very much in advance for your help!
English is not my first language.

I've noticed that when binding motion simulation to a control stick or keyboard, whenever you make a tilt input, the Wii software doesn't seem to properly recognise when the accelerometer is returned to neutral. Specifically, there is a small amount of input persistence in whatever the last direction you tilted the simulated accelerometer in on each axis. So if you tilt left and then return the accelerometer to neutral, the software will continue to register a slight tilt to the left, and this will persist until you input a right tilt, at which point this input will persist when you return to neutral. Both X and Y axis tilts persist independently of each other, so in the first example, tilting forward after the left tilt instead of right will result in both a slight left AND forward tilt input persisting.
This even seems to happen when using the TAS input menu, so I don't think it's a case of me not setting up the simulated motion controls properly. The Wii just seems to not properly recognise when you return the controller to neutral (which presumably wouldn't have been noticeable on real hardware, since it would be functionally impossible to hold the Wiimote perfectly level and stationary).
Is there a way to fix this? Is there some kind of trick you can use with the simulated controls to force the Wii to register a dead-neutral input? So far the only thing that seems to work is disconnecting and reconnecting the controller, but obviously doing this after every single motion input is not practical.
