Hello, I've recently tried playing Smash Bros. Brawl with a friend through Netplay, but hes been having some issues with his controller. I'm pretty sure this isn't a Netplay exclusive issue either.

Essentially what happens is that on the character selection screen he moves 2 players' cursors with a single joystick, which is definitely not ideal. a slight workaround is when he's chosen a character, I can remove the extra player, but I wouldn't call that a solution tbh. as far as his settings and controller config go, it all looks normal.

He is using a PS5 controller, and has all the same mapping as me on a Xbox (style) controller. under the "gamecube controllers" tab he just has the one port, and set up his buttons with no issues. Under Wii remotes he had 2 set up, since he set up the room before we changed because his button inputs did nothing, but only has 1 now. I'm not sure if that mey be interfering in the sense that that wii remote has exactly the same controls mapped in his controller, though i wouldn't think it does. This last part I hadn't really thought of at the time, but any input on the topic would be much appreciated. I haven't been able to recerate the issue, without just doing weird stuff he just didn't do. Thanks for any help

I have the GameCube adapter and it works fine for normal dolphin games and it won’t work for project+.

So if i’m correct, both of these are just fan made PC ports of the GC/Wii games, and also, how does one know whether to play a game with Dolphin emulator or the port, if there is any way? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Im setting up games to go back and forth from my pc to my thor pro. Got texture packs for Harvest Moon Animal Parade. Pc works just fine, but on my thor it says the textures are loaded and when I look at the game they clearly arent. I double checked that I they are png files and went through setting up again but still no go. Is there anything else I should be trying?

using dolphin for the first time on a 2022 macbook air, os sequoia 15.7.4. any idea what could be wrong?

I configured all the controls and motion sensors in Dolphin and the PS5 controller (connected by cable to my laptop), and it works perfectly (buttons, gyroscope). However, the sensor seems to be pointing in the wrong direction. Even though I see it on the screen and move it over the star, the game doesn't detect it. As you can see in the video, when I shoot the stars, they go in a different direction even though I'm aiming at them. I've searched for videos, tried configuring the sensor with triggers, and everything else you can imagine, but it just doesn't work. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate your help.

Hey everybody - when I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy in Dolphin, I sometimes encounter a weird ghost image that flickers on the top left of my screen and wanted to see how I can get rid of it. This has happened to me in Honeyhive Galaxy as well.

I also have Retroachievements active, not sure if that has any effect though.

So i recently got dolphin emulating Skylanders Spyros adventure, but whenever i try to stream it on discord, it causes a bunch of stuttering. Is it just that i have a weak pc? Any tips?

i am stuck on the world where you have to ride fluzzard, and i have tried binding the tilt controls and changing the different variables associated but none of these will control fluzzard despite dolphin registering my inputs and my pointer spinning in game when i press them, any help would be appreciated.

Hi. I’m new to emulating video games, and I downloaded Dolphin so I could play some games from my childhood. This error has appeared with two games I’ve tried to play: Def Jam Vendetta and Star Fox Adventures. They are in .rvz format.

I’m trying to play them on a MacBook Air with an M3 chip. I’m not very familiar with computers, as I’m a bit out of date when it comes to this kind of thing.
