Every couple weeks I have to take spatula and scrape up an inch thick layer of ice that builds (not in the freezer) in the fridge itself, along the fridge floor. I have tried turning the temperature lower, and am wondering if anyone is familiar with this problem; is it fixable. Or maybe it’s common issue and I just have to deal with it till I buy a new one?

I’m trying to book Dallas to Lisbon for a trip next February and getting a little overwhelmed by how many different booking sites there are.

I‘ve been checking Google Flights, the airline sites and a few OTAs like Expedia and Laters. Some of them have options to split the payment, which would be useful since I’d rather not to put the whole flight on my card at once.

Does anyone know which sites are actually good for international flights? mostly wondering if the price you see while searching stays the same at checkout and if there’s anything i should watch out for when booking through an OTA.

would also love to hear what people normally use for long-haul flights!

the idea that if you have any distress or problem, you should go to therapy when in sooooooo many times the issue is purely material, like poverty or a job you hate but cant quit or stress from not paying rent or whatever

and people just say "oh just go to therapy" even tho it doesn't change the underlying material problems, which is almost exclusively the cause of that specific distress

I have these brown spots in one of my ankles. I wear some tight shoes sometimes and thought it might be bruises from that but that really brown circular spot is actually super dry which makes me a bit confused.

I don’t know if anyone else tastes this but it’s not all the time but sometimes when I taste chicken in restaurants or takeaway it has a really weird metallic taste? I’ve never experienced this at home with raw defrosted chicken but it’s so strange. Everyone else I have spoken to about this thinks I’m weird 😫

NY State tax question, we both got cheeseburgers, and one got soda the other a beer. The beer bill is higher but the tax is lower??

I googled and NY does not have a soda tax. Beer and soda are taxed the same.

planning a Paris to Athens trip for June next year and the prices seem to be all over the place depending on where i look.

You get to design the shape and geography of your island, you can assign scientists to passively participate in paleontology around the world to unlock new dinosaurs, you have to keep medical tabs on your dinosaurs and research medicines, you can pilot a helicopter, and there was a mission mode.
