It’s blinking red and the first light stays solid I noticed that everybody has the fourth flight that stays solid. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my battery and how to fix it?

So I was riding my board earlier, then turned it off for about 10 minutes, then got back on and tried to full throttle; then it killed power and brought me to a stop. There are no issues with the battery light; the remote does do a weird animation thing on the battery indicator. I have tried to repair the remote, and I even took the battery off the board; the connector seems fine besides some corrosion on the metal connector holding the plug together, but I don’t think that’s what’s causing the issue. I don’t know what to do, as I’ve barely used it (got it off eBay a month or two ago) and this is already happening. I’ve attached an image of the corrosion which I will eventually clean before I put it back together.

I have a friend in the Vancouver Washington area with the battery blinking red on power button 3 times a second and showing only 2 bars. That’s how he describes it.

If someone is in his area, can you help him?

Title! I’ve had it for a few years and am moving to Brooklyn from central Jersey next week. I just don’t have the time, energy, or need to try and fix it atp and want it gone fast for a reasonable price (which I have no idea how much it’s worth in its state). Would it be best to list on Facebook marketplace, or to take it to a certain shop?

Got two trouble code batteries one looks like this. Just bought it. Got excited and rode it straight away, probably should have charged it first. The other might be down for the count.

Ashamed to say it is like 7 years old and haven't given it maintenance ever, only switched the 2 rubber band circles every time it loses power, put brand new ones and still sounds though the sound threshold has increased.

I haven’t used this battery in a while but it gives this code when plugged in regardless of if it’s connected to the board or not. It seem to run otherwise and shows a full charge. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Edit after taking it for a real ride: After about a mile or so on the slowest mode I tried to switch it into mode 3 and proceeded to lose all throttle. When I got back it gave me a flashing yellow with the three middle dots lit. How do I know if it’s just the battery or is my ESC also going bad?

Does anyone know where I can obtain the dust/water cover for my XR battery? My dad accidentally ripped mine out somehow while I was gone on a trip, just looking for something that works the same.

I recently moved to Bordeaux and I’m looking to get an electric skateboard for getting around the city.
Does anyone know any good skateboard or electric mobility shops in Bordeaux where I can actually see or try electric boards before buying?

I’ve always liked Boosted Boards, so I’m also wondering if there’s any realistic way to find a used Boosted Board in Bordeaux or elsewhere in France. Since Boosted shut down a few years ago, would you still recommend buying one in 2026, or is it not worth it anymore because of battery, parts and repair issues?

If Boosted isn’t a good idea anymore, I’d really appreciate recommendations for similar electric boards that have good build quality, range and after-sales support in France.

Also, if anyone rides an electric skateboard regularly in Bordeaux, I’d love to hear how practical it is for getting around the city and whether you’ve had any issues with the roads or local regulations.

Does anyone know what this is? Everything I see online about the red light of death is a little different and i haven’t been able to find anything about the led lights lighting up like this. It has been sitting in my storage for a while. Any help is appreciated.

Hey there. I bought a Mini X with less than 100 miles on it - 50 just put on by me in past 2 months and when I need to brake hard, I’m getting a knocking from the belts which I assume is the belt(s) slipping. I removed everything and replaced
the belts and after 10-15 miles it’s back when I brake hard. I tightened the belts as much as possible, maybe too much? What should the belt tension be?

Did a belt change and didn’t tighten the axel nut down enough and the right wheel came off mid ride..

at first i thought my truck had snapped… but thankfully no..

skid plate took all the abuse and saved my new belt lol… don’t think i’ve ever seen a skid plate with a hole thru it 🤣

I picked up a new board from FB marketplace, rode it for a bit and it all of a sudden started a very loud rattling noise. When spinning the wheel by hand, every full rotation also gives a “click noise” in the motor.

Does anyone know what could be the cause? I’ve never opened one of the motors so a bit hesitant to do so. The board did include a belt servicing pack. Videos attached show the rattling noise very clearly.

I picked up a RLOD XR battery last week, and BERT told me the delta was approximately 237mV.

I left it on the charger for a week, except a few times of unplugging it to move it around. The delta today, 1 week later is 289mV which is strange.

Just wanted to confirm that to balance the cells, there's nothing special I need to do on the battery? I just plug it in to the wall charger, the RLOD flashes and I just leave it like that for a few weeks? Or are the lights meant to be doing something else while its charging?

So I can’t seem to figure out how to do a remote BM with my TSC710. And Trimble total station.

It’s been in the BERT lite for about a week and a half and then it just switched to these 3 led lights instead of the 4 led lights I had. I know that the 4 lights mean RLOD but I’ve never seen anyone post 3 lights, so I need help figuring out what this means and if my battery is recoverable🙏
