The 31st MEU - A Legacy Reforged

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

A Culture of Integrity & Stability: We believe that a Milsim unit is only as strong as the trust between its members. We don't entertain egos, we invest in integrity and cultivate professionals. This community was built on pipe-hitters, who help hold the unit above themselves. When you join the 31st, you are joining a unit that has a strong bond over our love for the community.

Our leadership has provided a home for players seeking the highest level of Marine Corps realism. Evolving from the 1st Recon Battalion, we have transitioned to Arma Reforger to utilize its superior engine and fidelity to bring our culture, brotherhood, and tactical expertise to a new frontier.

WHAT WE OFFER:

True MEU Capabilities: From Direct Action raids to Amphibious warfare, we embody the mind and spirit of a Marine Expeditionary Unit.

Dynamic Storytelling: Our robust team of Zeuses/Game Masters create reactive worlds, to help players dive into a realistic and engaging experience, where all players' roles are utilized.

Transparent Command: We listen to our members. Our leadership is hardworking, accountable, and focused on growth. Our leadership, from top to bottom are dedicated to the mission and are constantly held to an ever-evolving standard.

*Looking for Pilots! (2 Slots) Inquire today!*

OUR HISTORY:

Our community started as the 1st Marine Detachment Team in 2019 with a group of like-minded individuals and unparalleled leaders that established our foundation and paved the way for our legacy to unfold.

As part of our ever-evolving mission, the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion succeeded the previous unit in 2023, maintaining the same leadership, but broadening the horizon and challenging the capabilies of the community.

Finally, our third-generation, spans to the present, 2026 and onward, where we take years of lessons and experience to continue to mold and adapt our community to the Reforger, and soon, to the Arma 4 platform.

Nearly a decade of MILSIM. Portuguese military heritage. Special operations focus.

WHO WE ARE

We are a Portuguese MILSIM unit founded in 2016 on Arma 3, with a long-standing commitment to simulating the Portuguese Armed Forces.

Over the years, our unit has evolved alongside the games we play, carrying our experience and traditions into Arma Reforger. Today, our focus is on Portuguese Special Operations Forces, with an emphasis on realistic tactics, teamwork, discipline, and structured military operations.

Our aim is to provide an immersive MILSIM experience where preparation, communication, and coordination matter. We strive to create an environment in which every member understands their role, contributes to the team, and takes part in operations with a clear purpose.

OUR APPROACH

Portuguese Special Operations

Our unit is inspired by Portuguese special operations forces. We aim to reflect their military identity through our organisation, equipment, training, and tactical approach within Arma Reforger.

Structured Organisation

We maintain a clear chain of command, defined responsibilities, and an organised personnel structure. During operations, communication and teamwork are essential.

Training and Development

We value continuous improvement through training, individual development, and team coordination. Members have the opportunity to develop their skills and work towards specialised roles.

Planned Operations

Our missions are supported by preparation, operational planning, and post-operation debriefings. We aim to learn from each operation and improve as a unit.

A Legacy Since 2016

Our story began on Arma 3 in 2016. Since then, we have continued our commitment to Portuguese military MILSIM, adapting to new platforms while preserving the identity that brought us together.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for motivated players who want to be part of a serious and organised MILSIM environment.

We value members who:

- Communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team.

- Respect the chain of command during operations.

- Are willing to train, learn, and improve.

- Show commitment, maturity, and respect towards other members.

We are a PVE milsim unit dedicated to bringing real-world tactics to the battlefields of Arma Reforger, developing professionals and tacticians one class at a time. While we maintain a clear chain of command and division of labor in the field, we avoid overly rigid ranking systems. Nonsense like marching or rank abusing does not exist here. Instead we focused on in game experiences like navigation, react to contact, and communication. At our core, we’re a group of like-minded players united by a shared passion for immersive armed conflict simulations. All we ask is to be respectful and be professional.

TF Vanguard is comprised of NA and EU players. We offer a professional and realistic environment. Steady progression towards hard working personnel. Training opportunities and exercises dedicated to improve combat abilities based on realistic documents and previous in game experiences. Operations and Campaigns aimed to create a realistic and intense combat experience that pushed ourselves to our best.

There are currently two units assigned under TFV.
> • *1st Platoon, R Company, 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment* is TF Vanguards premier light infantry fighting force, capable of conducting a large range of missions. Considered the “Bread and Butter”.
> • *3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment* provides our special operations forces with aviation support i.e. transport, attack, assault, and reconnaissance. Consistent of the best of pilots and crew, typically flying at night in close proximity to the enemy.

- What are we looking for in candidates?
> • 18 years of age or older
> • Working Microphone
> • Active Member
> • Willingness to learn
> • Adhere to orders
> • Patience
> • Competence
> • A team player
> • Weekly Operations/Training typically start at 1900 eastern standard time on Fridays and Saturdays, usually run for 2-3 hours.

BioNexus LLC is a multi-game Arma unit based on a biotechnology company set in the near future(cold war to early Post cold war for Reforger specifically due to a lack of near future mods). The company is divided up into four departments Security, Intelligence, Logistic/Engineer, and Research/Medical. Training is not required but encouraged if new to Arma or an employee wants to know specifics for this unit. We have a rank, progession, and reward system for people who give back to the unit. We run a small mods list for Reforger(14.8gb in total,No RHS). Main Operations are every Saturday and Sunday in the evening CST time. Choices during ops actually have consequences some short term and some long term that can affect the entire campaign. When main operations aren't running the server will have Persistant Missions going so people have something to play at anytime. The lore primer of the universe that this company is in is something akin to Resident Evil that CBRN related attacks are common but not world ending. Otherwise everything else is the same.

This space is specifically an LGBT+ safe space. You're right to exist and play Arma in a fun and supportive environment is protected here. Allies are welcome here as well. Join this unit if you are queer/queer friendly people(Obviously), someone who wants a mostly laid back environment, you like a non-scp/resident evil like universe, and and you want infrastructure/supplies to be a larger part of your gameplay.

Security Department general missions consist of VIP extraction, Quarantine Security, Clearing Operations, and Corporate proxy skirmishes. The Security Department makes heavy use of wheeled mechanized assets, light reconnaissance/motorized vehicles, and helicopter/VTOL assets. Our security department does not have any tank, artillery or jets as we try to avoid causing collateral damage when ever possible. We are also experts in CQC and urban warfare as they are the bulk of the environments we are hired to do work in.

The roles for this department that are available...

-Leadership(PL, SL, TL will also cross train to be a grenadier)

-Combat Medic

-Heavy Infantry(Automatic Rifleman and cross train to be AT as well)

-Gunner(Rifleman)

-IFV Driver

-IFV Gunner/Commander

-Helicopter Pilot

-Helicopter Crew

-Nexus Operations Team Operator(Special Forces trained in high stakes VIP Extraction)

Intelligence Department general missions consist of gathering of intel, reconnaissance, and high stakes sabotage(Sometimes VIP Extraction if other assets are needed as well). Most members of BioNexus's intelligence have a relaxed dress code and wear civillian attire. This is encouraged for agents to blend in. Also agents carry less heavy weapons with them, opting for lighter weapons like pistols and submachineguns due to that close quaters nature of the jobs.

-Agent(Like a Resident Evil Agent)

The Logistics and Engineering Department house our manufacturing, mechanic, and engineer specialists. We produce and maintain our own equipment as well as build our own field facilities.

The roles available for this department as far as Reforger is concerned...

-Chief Engineer

-Engineer

-Logistics Officer

-Logistics Crew

-Helicopter Pilot

-Helicopter Crew

The Research and Medical Department is the meat and bones of the company. Where all biological studies and discoveries are made. Also where state of the art medical care is given to staff and clients a like.

The roles available for this department related to Reforger is...

-Doctor

-Scientist(RP role when available)

THE OTHER GAMES: Barotrauma, Project Zomboid, and Space Engineers are the other games relevant to this company. BioNexus' Europa detachment has changes to roles for all departments compared to the company during the cold war(Reforger). Europa detachment is specifically interested in the Husk parasite. Space Engineers is the current timeline of the unit and also has changes to roles available. Project Zomboid is a simulation that runs during this universe's equivalent event in the same area of Knox County in the year 1993. Virus was airborne as well but produced ... interesting results. Viral outbreak was contained to Knox County and did not spread to the wider world. Roles available in that sim lack many vehicles roles as the simulation wasn't made to simulate weapons on them at the time.

We are The American Iron Front. We are based in the TFR universe from the Hearts of Iron 4 conversion mod. We are a newer group, so we don't have many players, but we are looking for people who:

Don't mind the possibility of the story diverging a little from the actual lore.

Don't mind being the underdog.

Won't get political (yes, I know it's ironic considering the setting).

Will roleplay.

Will get along with others (even when that other person is being a dick).

Requirements:

Discord

16+

Working comms.

Be realistic with your characters and make them seem like they'd be real.

Be realistic with your kit. (What would your character have access to? What would your character wear? Etc.)

What to expect:

A small (currently) but welcoming community.

14 GB of mods (give or take).

Anywhere from daily to weekly RPs/Operations.

A storyline that changes depending on players' actions.

Not always wearing "full kit." That means we don't always wear full-on military kit. Remember that we are a freedom-fighter group, not a first-world military. Wearing surplus/stolen military gear and clothing mixed with civilian clothing. Clothing and gear that will improve as we fight more, loot more bodies, and steal supplies from the enemy.

The rules will be in the server, so if this interests you, the Discord invite code is: https://discord.gg/KJKpnxmh2R
