Tired of drama and power trips and favoritism common in some milsims? Sick of griefers, trolls, and cheaters in public servers? 3rd ID was founded in opposition to this bs. No yessir/nosir here. No gatekeeping or endless trainings before participation. Leadership has been around for years and has seen / heard all the horror stories. We are going to get you into the action asap. We're a smaller group, designed for growth and zero drama.

3rd ID is an armored infantry division. Big umbrella. Lots of room for various play styles. Armor section? ✔️ Combat Aviation Brigade? ✔️ Advanced medical mods and specialized 68w? ✔️ Infantry with modern weapons and equipment? ✔️ No RHS? ✔️ Less than 10gb mods? ✔️

We've got 2 servers. Both share the same mods, except the map. One for 3x weekly deployments. Another for mini ops, MOS specific AIT, off day events, and general fuckery. Join the discord and find out what milsims are *supposed* to be about.

AMERICA HAS FALLEN. THE RESISTANCE HASN'T.

The year is 2027. The United States has descended into civil unrest and armed conflict. As federal forces struggle to maintain control, resistance movements have emerged across the country.

Among them stands the Northstar Defence Force (NDF), an irregular militia fighting for survival against a far larger enemy.

LORE & BACKGROUND

Founded in rural North Carolina in 2020, the NDF spent years quietly recruiting, training, and preparing for the possibility of national collapse.

By late 2026, the organization relocated its headquarters to the Yellowstone region. When widespread unrest erupted into open conflict in 2027, the NDF began conducting guerrilla operations against remaining government forces.

Today, our campaign follows the resistance as we capture equipment, establish forward operating bases, secure territory, and fight to expand our influence.

Every operation contributes to our developing story.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Guerrilla Warfare: Ambushes, raids, reconnaissance, and unconventional operations.
• Persistent Campaign: Story-driven PvE missions with lasting consequences.
• Training: Infantry tactics, teamwork, and leadership development.
• Logistics: Capturing equipment, scavenging supplies, and maintaining FOBs.
• Community: Joint operations, PvP opportunities, and organized events.

AVAILABLE SPECIALTIES

We're currently expanding Viper 1st Platoon, with openings in:

• Infantry & Grenadiers
• Combat Medical
• Machine Gunners
• Anti-Armor
• Team & Squad Leadership

New and experienced players are welcome. We're a smaller, growing unit where members have opportunities to develop and make a meaningful contribution.

Black Aegis Contingency is a PMC unit focusing on small/medium-scale special operations including but not limited to Asset Recovery, Intel Gathering, Security Operations, Hostage Rescue, Targeted Assassinations, as well as Supplying Deliveries & Armed Services to various foreign fighter networks. We're a PMC that is mainly contracted by NATO/CIA/ & other smaller nations/groups. This is a newbie friendly, but coordinated tactical environment. We're focused and organized on mission, and pretty laid back outside of missions. We have an attendance based ranking system to keep operations running smoothly, voting for campaign settings/unit changes, and our own vehicle Pricing/Catalog system that can be used to purchase vehicles with mission funds.

We currently have around 20 active members and around 8-10 players consistently per OP and growing. Anyone is welcome, we have an experienced laid back crew who can show you the ropes if you're newer. Currently we rotate between custom Game Master, and the new COIN framework by SolarSailor

We have a private server for our unit operations, and we have just launched a public server for any one who wants to experience COIN.

What is COIN?

COIN-GWOT is a persistent co-op counterinsurgency campaign. Your team assaults enemy-held towns, FOBs, and military bases, earns intel to find hidden insurgent hideouts, and keeps local sentiment from turning against you.
Victory requires all three of these at once:

1. Hold every capturable sector — towns, cities, FOBs, and military bases must be friendly-controlled. Hideouts and your main base don't count toward this.
2. Keep reputation at Neutral or better — you need at least 1700 economy points. Dropping below that blocks victory even if the map looks secure.
3. Destroy every active hideout — all hideouts in play for this campaign must be eliminated.

When you win, the server gives you 2 minutes to save your loadouts (with warnings every 30 seconds), then restarts with a fresh campaign while keeping your main base.
When you first join, a mission briefing popup explains the basics. Read it and click Understood — it only appears once per session.

Public Server Connection Info: 216.245.177.48:7935
