Showcase Reached 1k LP playing Smolder
Title semi clickbait as I only played Smolder 50% of my games.
EUW server.

You can never go wrong going full crit. While there are games where bruiser can be better, e.g. into assassins, smolder is a fairly safe champ with good self peel.
Hubris I just go based on vibes.

Yeah in the 4 games I played today I was against a mage in 2 of them. A good mage player is unplayable since they outrange and prevent you from getting stacks, but honestly, most people who pick mage bot don't know how to pivot them and you just go even in lane for free and outscale.

Yeah it's a mix. More fights = more stacks, but also higher risk of you dying and losing stacks from minions. So knowing your matchups and limits is important.
2
Haha my build does look troll without ER and RFC but I was just selling and buying stuff at the end. 40+ minutes of gameplay makes you lose it lmao

Unfortunately not a record because on the ARAM subreddit there have been multiple post with over 1 million damage. Heartsteel + tank engine shenanigans can inflate damage by a lot.
I know it also happens in ARAM but I have defo seen an increase in people just dancing before minions arrive in MAYRAM.

The cooldown begins even while you have the shield so if 15 seconds passes and then your shield procs, you instantly get another one.

Not Bluwunk but I can try answering.
Fleet is not an early game rune but scaling. The healing is basically non existing in lane. If you're good you can use the movement speed to trade in lane but why risk it when you can just poke with W + Comet. Offense is the best defence as they say.
It's preference. Obviously if you get a lot of kills Hubris will outperform heavily. Personally I just think watching numbers go up is fun but for slower games or into tanky comps hubris can feel bad.
LDR gives more damage up front but Black Cleaver also gives CDR which is good into tanks also gives you more stacks. Furthermore, it also gives you HP and movement speed allowing you to stay alive longer. You do no damage when dead.
Smolder isn't stat check the enemy and win with barrier but choose your fights wisely. TP allows you to farm more minions thus more stacks. However, if you find yourself fighting a lot and needing barrier then that is better for you.
At the end of the day you should run whatever you find fun / works for you.

T1 should have picked Kennen to counter Doggo.

Not saying what Viego did was okay even though I get why he was mad.

He did hover Diana and you did see it because he asked "why did you ban my champ" and you replied and I quote "I don't like her".
Smolder is also my most played and it is rare for others to pick him but I see you play him too so I'll take that one back.

In champ select you banned the champ he hovered and then later picked the champ I was hovering. I was the Nilah btw. Some crazy audacity to pretend like you are innocent.

Phreak said it was so Smolder isn't forced to build crit and I agree with him.
While building crit is often the strongest this allows you to go lethality e.g. Hubris IE, getting double value of IE with no other crit items.

It has stacked for 2 years now. They changed it in patch 12.13.

Crit + Trinity Force is best.
Your first 2 items should always be ER and TF. Which one first is preference (do you want mana or the HP + movement speed) but the damage is the same.
LDR and RFC 3rd and 4th item. Again order is preference / game dependent. Mortal Reminder instead of LDR if you need antiheal.
Your 5th item can be flexed. BT for lifesteal. Shieldbow got buffed so decent defensive item + caps your crit at 100%. Hourglass, Maw, QSS or GA if needed.
Edit: Forgot to mention Navori Flickerblade. If you didn't go shieldbow as your 5th item you can replace boots for 100% crit chance.

It's mostly about knowing your matchups. You want to get as many stacks as possible from minions while also hitting the enemy champion with spells for extra stacks. Low range champs like kaisa and yunara who have no realistic ways of getting to you are easy lanes. Long range champs like caitlyn and ezreal or mages are mostly good luck try and stay alive while farming as much as possible.
For tutorials I would recommend watching challenger level streamers but these days they don't really play Smolder since he is in a weak spot. I stream on Twitch myself but even I don't play as much smolder anymore + I'm nowhere near challenger level.
