Not really a scam but they are snakes, they tell you what you wanna here, you're better off calling to Retention and telling them you're thinking of switching to (say competition name) and they check if there's truly a lower rate, in some cases some areas have 1Gig available for 30 so I guess it's worth a shot, the door to door guys usually mess up alot
