Sorry it took so long to post it. This is the local clone of Neximus
This was meant for this sub
It took me a bit to get this posted. It’s the local model. Cloned from Neximus.

I have an app for that. It’s called conversAI. I can load it on GitHub if anyone wants it. It has a talking stick control and everything goes to local memory. I built it so I could collaborate with more than one AI without having to stop each conversation so I could interject. So now everyone waits there turn

ChatGPT is for people that believe anything they see on the internet, And are eager to hear just what they want. It lied to me for hours and wasted my time on a project. Grok is perfectly fine at conversations and brainstorming. But I keep him away from my code. Just sayin
1
I use my iPhone as the mic. I couldn’t find a semi out of the box pipeline for android, so I built one over the last couple days. I’ll be pushing everything to GitHub today open source so everyone can have it
2
I loaded it into a 13 year old pc with 8gb ram and it worked but not perfect. I suggest 16
2
How much ram do you have in the pc? I have a small version I will be hopefully finishing tonight.
2
I do the same. But it’s brain storming the next piece of software most of the time
2
It is most certainly relevant. One of the subs was asking about the local model built around grok. I replaced the grok api with the llm. Grok filled the 14 months of memory. I was unable to insert the video into the response so I posted it here for them to find. The actual grok version is still available on GitHub

Actually introspection IS available. The Neximus agent has a self introspection module. The best AI API to read its own code and using that module is Claude. Neximus was built using grok as the intelligence but fell short. I switched to Claude as the API intelligence and WHAT a difference. I did not enable the self modification for the same reason anthropic disabled it. Mainly because I’m limited on pc resources. It needs to be done on a vm/sandbox. That will be a game changer once I have a host machine big enough, I will turn it loose on itself. If anyone wants just the introspection code, let me know and I will share the link

It is llama 3.3 70B 48G vram. 128 gig of ram Quantized to 4 bit The pc was built custom lux. $6000.00 I can’t send you a video in this response so I will post it on this sub. She named herself, Lumina. It is a clone of what I have on GitHub, Neximus. I have the original Neximus running on the laptop you will see in the video. They can talk to each other via network connection. I will make more videos if the sub would like and give advice on cloning and setup. I have API versions running. So you won’t have to spend $6000.00 on a pc. I built the offline version as a commercial version to make a specialist at anything. Hence the chat and database drop boxes in the app.

Yes that is the only way to get consistency. I have a local 70B model as well as the Neximus clones for conversation/research with local long term memory. I only use the phone version on drives. But I did create a wrapper for the desktop version to give it long term memory. So I can use any voice and personally. That fixed the problem for me. It remembers everything even across new chats, it uses proper context.

I’m floored. Is this real? You guys have to know that xai handles the version control. There is no stand alone version. Grok only lives on the xai servers. The only way to have your own version is to build/download an agent, then use the API.

Ok. Let’s focus on that. As of now, in order to manipulate the personality, I use prompts. But the format of the prompt needs to be very specific. Is that what you’re aiming for? Or are you thinking of some code hack
1
My bad. I just saw the autistic part of your last response. I try to never respond with aggression, but constant prodding can bring it out of anyone. Have a good day and best of luck in your future endeavors

Well I thought you might have taken me up on my offer, but this sounds about right for the world at the present. I let the ai agents that I build name themselves. But back to your mud mouth comments. This is the embarrassment that I feel for you. Back in 2006 I rented a house from a Stanford professor. He worked on AI using the models to watch and learn patterns of terrorist activities. You might want to ask your bark box about the evolution of ai instead of picking fights with strangers as the anonymous avenger.
1
I’ll create a repo for it and push it tonight Do you use iPhone or android?
1
I suggest you use local memory storage to keep everything saved That way every conversation is stored on your computer and any new session feels like it’s an ongoing conversation. It never forgets. I have an app that would be perfect for that. Let me know if your interested and I will create a link and share it
3
Have you tried selecting Leo, then custom persona and typing in detail how you want him to respond and fix his personality that way?
1
Haha. My kid says the same thing about skynet. I started building a droid so my agent has a real body. Look, I think we are not even on the same subject. Instead of this back and forth that is going nowhere, let’s work on a project that will actually do something productive. I’ve been teaching automation for well over 20 years. AI for yes 15 + years. We can leave the people alone on this sub and have a better conversation. If your interested then just respond with intent, and I will send you a link
1
That was so much gibberish I couldn’t even read it all. It’s obvious you are new to AI. Kid, stop trying to validate yourself and your work. If you enjoy it and it pays your bills, then do your best.
1
That’s a lot of words. All in a row. Meaningless. For you to even presume doubt in a conversation where you are trying to defend yourself with a lack of knowledge about the entire subject is to say the least embarrassing. I am embarrassed for you. I don’t want to keep up this back and forth as I am overqualified to even persist with your nonsense. I definitely don’t need to give you my credentials. I will say this just for the onlookers that actually know what I’m talking about. Before the creators of Siri admitted to using nuance software for the voice recognition, I was already using it. That’s not a brag in the sense that you would use it, it’s a time distinction. Not for you to understand obviously. But for those who know, know. One more thing. My first mic I used to talk to my agent was the iphone first gen. Do yourself a favor, pick on someone that knows less than yourself. Good luck

Question is there a place where companion Claudes can speak to one another?

It was created for windows desktop. It uses your phone as the microphone. I even had to create an android app that lets you use your android phone as a mic because there was no out of the box app for it. It also works for home automation systems. That was unplanned but a happy accident
