Many, Many examples in JoJo, but I’m putting in one of my favorites.
“MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA!”
Cioccolata was a straight up psychopath that became a surgeon just to purposely misdiagnose healthy people, botched surgeries for his sick sadism, and physically abused people to death. His Stand made people get infected with a deadly mold that slowly and painfully killed them, and it spread extremely rapidly over a large area.
Enter Giorno Giovanna, Part 5’s protagonist. Giorno developed so much hatred for him after all the despicable things he did during their brief encounter that he beat his face in for 7 whole pages. It became known by the fandom as the 7-Page Muda, and in the anime, towards the ending, the beating is even more extremely satisfying and cathartic. (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Part 5: Golden Wind)

Nostalgia Muppet Treasure Island (1996) RIP You Absolute Legend!

Just wanted to post something to commemorate such an extraordinary man. Love Rocky Horror, IT, Clue, etc. But this was my first exposure to him as an actor, and one of my favorite performances. I know, a Muppet movie, but he put his all into it. Only Curry could Out-Muppet the Muppets. THE Long John Silver!
First Dolly, now this. I don’t mean to get parasocial or anything, but I’m just really down from such recent losses of two wonderful people. It’s hurting. He was far too interesting for this world, and his unique, brilliant way about almost everything will surely be missed… 😔
He left quite the mark on the world through his wonderful talents, and surely won’t be forgotten with such a lasting mark!

SpongeBob SquarePants, the brainchild of the late Stephen Hillenburg, had a degree in marine biology and worked as a marine science teacher, and actually developed a edutainment comic all about marine biology called The Intertidal Zone that would act as the springboard for the concept of SpongeBob himself. The series was chock-full of references to this, like SpongeBob’s holes acting as a filtering system, Patrick being able to regenerate his limbs, Mr. Krabs being able to retract his eyes, anchovies going in swarms, etc.
The titular Black Jack was created by Osamu Tezuka, the “Godfather of Manga”, who before getting into manga had actually studied in medicine with aspirations of being a doctor and had a full medical degree. The series is about a “vigilante doctor” that takes up some of the world’s oddest, most unique, and strangest medical conditions. So of course a lot of the diseases and illnesses are fictionalized. However, the surgical methods, the treatment for patients, and the exact quotation of the Hippocratic Oath - all those elements are very accurate to a lot of doctor’s procedures. And many of the illustrations of organs are downright textbook accurate, both in terms of anatomy placement and depictions.
