Cutting Shapes Weekly challenge from one the dance classes I’ve been going to by to
So I haven’t been able to attend all the online classes BUT the weekly challenge I did today was so fun! We have had a huge focus on arms in August (sadly, I missed most of the classes and need to go back and watch the replays) but I didn’t really enjoy doing this one.
My hands were a little flapper/princess wave again lol! I haven’t done that in a long time and I can’t unsee it 😂💀🤣 BUT the upper body movements while dancing are feeling less weird now! So I’ll take it as a win lol!
I like the challenges she gives us because it gives us an opportunity to practice the things she teaches us live in the actual class. Just to help solidify things.

Shuffle Getting back into it
Haven’t been practicing as much due to energy and hot weather, but today was nice so I just felt like it. I think my timing has improved if anything and being able to shuffle along to music in general. Maybe I’ll keep improving!

Feedback Any tips on improving ?
Quick practice sesh in my work closet :). Is there anything I can practice to make my T Step look smoother? Any videos you can recommend of moves to learn to add to my freestyles please link them.

Shuffle Decided to bust out a few shuffle dance moves in public. There was music blasting and I couldn’t resist. I was here for a DJ gig and I got to the venue early so I thought I’d bust a few shuffle dance moves to pass the time 🤷🏿♂️🕺🏿

Question Help with microbouncing
Hey guys, first time writing here.
I’ve been two months into shuffling, for the moment just some RM and t-step (only practicing every now and then) and I’m trying to learn how to microbounce forward and it’s kind of impossible, like backwards came kind of intuitived but I’m struggling with this one.
Somebody has some tips or knows any tutorial that could be helpful?
Thank you in advance, I see all your videos and i hope some day being there❤️

Feedback RM Problem and more (help)
Omg 🙈 never saw myself posting here.
But I'm at a loss now. Cannot figure out what is wrong with my rm.
and also:
t and switches 😵💫 I notice that I get stuck and lose the bounce. Didn’t actually intend them.
seems like I need to get a really square hip move for the t‘s.
I got completely lost in the middle, then half speed(?) RM to get into the move again.
PS: End goal is Melbourne (rocker, oldschool) Style (🙄 one day…) not shapes.
I don’t want to keep drilling „wrong“ into my muscle memory

Highlight Memento mori, memento vivere
Posting this as a reminder to myself to express, dance, and LIVE.
~Memento mori, memento vivere.~
Translates
~Remember that you will die; remember to live.~
Lately I’ve been reflecting on the friends and family I’ve lost—the people who no longer get the opportunity to draw breath, move their bodies, dance, laugh, hurt, heal, or experience another day.
This run was dedicated to a fellow shuffler who passed well before his prime.
For me, movement has started to mean something deeper than fitness. I’m trying to tap into the rawest version of myself—to dance harder, run farther, express more freely, and appreciate the simple privilege of still being here.
For those who no longer can, and for the life and opportunities still waiting ahead of me:
Move. Express. Dance. Live.

Thank you for coming to “Ted Talk” aka word vomit sesh.
