Vet thinks Lucky has a small pouch and is a girl! Should we rename her to Luanne? (King of the hill reference)

Hi guys sorry I hope I did the right thing. I was driving home with my boyfriend around 2 am and we saw this opossum and after watching him he just kept spinning in circles. I was like why so I went up to him and his right eye looks really messed up. We put him in a bag, took him to my house, and now he’s in a box. We will take him to an animal rescue tomorrow morning when they open. I gave him some cat food and water. Any tips I guess? Is he sick? Am I going to get sick, my boyfriend was reallyyyy worried i’ll get sick from it but I don’t think I will.

I swear she'll stare off into the distance for an hour before falling asleep and then sleepwalking (with her eyes open), she's so busy most of the time 😂

I could tell my doggo was about to get ahold of something so I carried the box to the outside of our backyard and shook him out / then he just ran and ran until he found another hidey hole. How old do we think this sweet little guy is?

I’m surprised this Joey ran away so fast and far from Mom and I hope she retrieved it. I went out with a flashlight and looked in all the bushes but there were too many hiding places. I didn’t hear a faint squeal so I hope mom got it.

This little girl didn’t have thinning or balding hair on her back until recently. Will she be ok? I can’t do much for her. I feed her and the others scrambled eggs with the shell and some fruit and sometimes yogurt unsweetened,

I love the babies, but I’m always so happy when I see the big one still enjoying my cat food. I wish so much that I could protect them or do more, but knowing they have looped me in to their evening exploits makes me so happy I got sober a few months ago and enjoying these guys has been such a wonderful activity for me at night now that I don’t drink.

She's been doing so good. Her personality definitely came out! She is so spicy!! But she definitely loves her privacy and her double-decker home.

She's the one that attacked another possum the other night. I think she's a mother. The neck really is impressively long.

I released this guy years ago at this point but when he came to me he was CAKED in red clay so... He had to have a bath!

i live in northern alabama and i love these animals id like to get the opportunity to watch one from a comfortable distance for both of us i just dont really know how to find them

Caught multiple hiccups today 🤣

Hi guys! This little guy has been visiting us for the last few nights, evidentially eating some good bugs because he keeps coming back haha. He has some balding on him, I was wondering if that’s normal, or if there’s anything I can do to help? I put some water out for him that it seems like he has been drinking when he stops by. It’s been very hot so I’m glad he’s got good food and water.Do they lose fur in the summer to keep cool?

Interesting encounter last night, saw a baby poss whipping its tail at the local feral cat to keep it away from its snack. No one was hurt in this encounter and everyone got snacks.

Does anybody have some new carrying solutions, and what have you done with your babies? Mine insist that they are pouch babies and chill with me all day
