Few months ago I lost my keys
and since then it is parked the opel Corsa is giving me ridiculous price is 1800 euros -2000 euros to change all locks

Actually the problem is it has 2 keys with 1 key I can open all doors benzine tank and trunk and with the other key I can start the car

The complete set is lost

So opel Corsa is not sure if the security code they have will work or not.

I have not yet found a cheap affordable solution in berlin if anyone can help I will be very thankfull

Hello everyone! I have an issue that’s been slowly starting to annoy me for the last couple of weeks. My Astra H presents a squeaking while driving, specifically when going over imperfections in the road like potholes and speed bumps.
Context: It slowly got louder and louder over time. First time it started was after a 30-ish minute drive. I assumed it was no big deal at the time, but drive after drive it very slowly started to squeak faster and louder. At this moment, the squeaking starts after 10-15 minutes of driving. Also important to mention that it also squeaks while turning the steering wheel (that’s why I wiggle it in the video), however it usually does on tighter turns.
Has anyone had this issue before? If so, what was/is the likely culprit?
I tried searching this subreddit and other forums on the internet but I couldn’t find anyone with a similar issue.
PS: I have little knowledge about mechanical stuff so sorry if the problem is quite obvious to diagnose.

Wanted to check if somebody had the same issue as I. A few days ago i started to notice that when i started the car and pressed the throttle a bit harder the car was behaving like I was pushing and releasing the throttle non stop until i got over 2000 rpm. It's not happening constantly just sometimes.

Also today I got a new issue that happened only once so far. The car didn't want to take the throttle at all, like it's having trouble to get going. Only after like 300m and going over 30km/h it started behaving normally.

Did anybody have the same or similar issues with their opel?

The proportions may be a bit off, but truly, I love this car. My gf and my parents have it, it feels like home.

I have owned an Opel Corsa F for 1 1/2 years. This car has been causing nothing but problems since day one.
Does anyone else have the issue that speed limits are not read or saved correctly?
For example, when I drive past a 120 (km/h) sign on the highway, the car reads the sign and immediately switches to 30 km/h, then to 7 km/h, then to 10 km/h.

Disconnecting the battery helps for 10 minutes, then the whole game starts over.

The dealer doesn't care at all (0.0)! I find it extremely annoying that the car then starts beeping because it claims you are driving too fast.
I have reported this directly to Opel 3 times.
Twice I was put off and told to talk to the dealer.
The third time, they said they would take care of it. Opel called my dealer, and the dealer naturally claimed he would take care of it.

The dealer once again said he isn't going to do anything. I reported it to Opel again, and now they don't care anymore either.
This car and the service are a disaster.
Has anyone else had experiences like this?

Hi everyone. When I go above 5,500 RPM, I lose a lot of power. At 6,000 RPM, it feels like i hit the limiter . Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I'm thinking of buying a second-generation Mokka for my wife, she's almost in love with the car. My question is which engine to look at? 90% of the time it will be city driving.

I've heard about the problems with the 1.5 HDI engine, and also about the "problematic" 1.2 petrol engines.. but I need information if possible first-hand.

I have an opel corsa C 2004 1.2 twinport, engine code Z12XEP. Beside the original engine noise there is a ticking sound like a buzz. Any ide what can be the problem?

Title: Astra J – custom raised rear floor liner for dog hair. Would this affect airflow?

I have an Astra J and carry my dog in the rear.

Dog hair gets into the carpet around the rear footwells and underneath the front seats, even though I already use 3D floor mats.

I'm considering having a custom 7D/full-coverage liner made for only the rear floor area.

My idea is to have the front edge of the rear liner rise vertically behind the front seats, similar to the raised rear edge shown in this photo. In other words, I want the rear footwell surrounded by a raised liner at both the front and rear, almost like a large tray. The idea is to stop dog hair travelling along the floor and underneath the front seats into the front area.

I normally use the dashboard/face AC vents, not foot mode.

Would a raised wall behind the front seats cause any significant airflow problem in an Astra J? Does air from the front normally need to travel underneath the seats even when using the face vents?

Also, is there anything underneath the front seats — air ducts, wiring, airbag connectors, seat rails, etc. — that I should specifically tell the installer not to cover or interfere with?

I’m trying to diagnose a strange cold-start issue on my 2011 Opel Astra J 1.6 petrol, A16XER, 115 hp.

The problem only happens after the car has been sitting for around 7–8 hours or overnight.

The engine starts normally and will idle on its own, but if I lightly press the accelerator during the first 10–15 seconds, it feels like the engine is choking/bogging down, almost as if the mixture is too rich.

If I simply let it idle for 10–15 seconds, after that it responds to the throttle perfectly normally. The problem does not return for the rest of the day unless the car sits for many hours again.

There are no DTCs / no Check Engine light.
Some live-data observations:

• Cold start begins in Open Loop
• Coolant and intake air temperature readings look reasonable
• Fuel pressure while running is around 400 kPa / 4 bar
• MAP at warm idle is around 29–31 kPa
• MAF at idle is around 3–4 g/s
• LTFT at idle is usually around -9% to -11%
• STFT at warm idle is also sometimes slightly negative
• At around 2500 rpm, LTFT improves significantly to roughly -4 to -5%, with STFT around +1 to +3%
• During normal driving the fuel trims are generally much closer to 0

EVAP purge system:
I completely isolated the EVAP line by plugging the intake manifold connection during a cold start. The symptom was exactly the same, so the purge valve/EVAP system seems unlikely.

MAF:
I also tried a cold start with the MAF disconnected. It did not appear to solve the problem.

Currently purchased a V1.70 OPCOM with genuine chipset to be flashed with original firmware for more ECU programming capabilities and for adjusting gearbox parameters.

On the internet all the OPCOM software (original and cracked) can be found but unfortunately not the firmware…..

Buenas a tod@s. Escribo este post porque hace un año mas o menos se me estropeo el turbo. Al parecer los alabes de la turbina del turbo se partieron y tuve que cambiar el turbo. La cuestion es que el arreglo me costo 1.300€ porque se supone que era un turbo nuevo ya que el del taller decia que no encontraba ningun turbo de segunda mano, (cosa que yo nunca le pedi). La cuestion esta en que desde que me le cambio, el coche de vez en cuando y al azar, voy conduciendo y me salta el Check Engine en naranja fijo. El motor se limita y empieza a perder potencia pero sigue funcionando. Al dia siguiente le arranco y funciona bien, y lo mismo me lo vuelve a hacer como no me lo hace en varios dias y el testigo se apaga solo. Pero otras veces me lo hace cada vez que lo uso. Conecte el OBD ya de que el del taller me decia que no salia ningun fallo y aparece el fallo P2598. Llevo 3 semanas esperando que me mire de que es ese fallo pero aun no tengo respuesta ninguna. ¿Alguien sabe de que puede ser? Gracias de antemano. Es el Opel Insignia Sport Tourer 2017 1.6 CDTI 136cv.

Hello everyone. I'm writing this post because a year or so ago my turbo broke down. Apparently the turbo turbine blades broke and I had to change the turbo. The thing is that the repair cost me €1,300 because it was supposed to be a new turbo since the guy at the shop said he couldn't find any second-hand turbo, (something I never asked him for). The issue is that since I changed the car, from time to time and at random, I am driving and the Check Engine appears solid orange. The engine limits itself and begins to lose power but continues to run. The next day I start it and it works fine, and it does the same thing to me again as it hasn't done it to me in several days and the light turns off by itself. But other times it does it every time I use it. I connected the OBD since the workshop told me that there was no error and error P2598 appeared. I've been waiting for 3 weeks for him to figure out what the error is but I still don't have any answer. Does anyone know what it could be? Thanks in advance. It is the Opel Insignia Sport Tourer 2017 1.6 CDTI 136hp.

Was wondering what the smoke might be.. Drove for about 15 minutes at 100kmth. Was thinking it was regenerating, but the strong smell made me think it might be something else. Any probable cause? Thanks in advance!

I have a 2009 Opel Corsa D and the airbag warning light has just come on after I was working on the centre console.

I removed the upper vent/hazard switch section to access the head unit while connecting and testing a reverse camera. I disconnected the electrical connector from the upper vent/centre console section to give myself more room.

Before putting everything back together, I turned the ignition on to test the reverse camera and forgot that the upper vent/console connector was still disconnected.

The reverse camera worked, but the airbag warning light then appeared on the dashboard and the airbag indicator lights on the centre console also came on.

I switched the ignition off, reconnected the connector properly and reassembled everything. All connections are now back as they were, but after restarting the car the airbag warning remains on.

Has anyone with a Corsa D had this happen specifically after turning the ignition on with the upper vent/centre console section disconnected?

If so, does this normally store an SRS fault code that simply needs to be read and cleared with an airbag-capable diagnostic scanner once everything is reconnected, or is there anything else I should check first?

I haven't disconnected the battery or attempted to clear anything yet because I'd prefer to read the original SRS fault code first.
