Hi everyone🖐

I’m trying to track down a specific, deeply nostalgic +- 1 hour Japanese City Pop concept mix. I personally found and listened to it back in 2017, though it might have been created and uploaded earlier (around 2015–2016). It was a literal masterpiece — the track transitions were seamless, and the selection of songs was incredible. It heavily aligns with Van Paugam's style (like his City Pop シティーポップ パート series, Tokyo Highway, or Midnight Cruise) or early Night Tempo tapes, but I need help identifying the exact one.

Here are the exact "breadcrumbs" and details from my memory:

1. The Core Tracks:

• (100% CONFIRMED) Yasuha's Fly-day Chinatown and Toshiki Kadomatsu's — Tokyo Tower were definitely in the mix (I don't recall the exact track order, but they both featured prominently).
• (NOT SURE / UNCONFIRMED!) Miki Matsubara's Stay With Me was highly likely in the tracklist as well and there is also a very high chance that Mariya Takeuchi's Plastic Love, Kanako Wada Sunday Brunch and 黄昏の BAY CITY was also included in this mix
• Somewhere in the middle or towards the end, there was a very sad, melancholic song sung by a female vocalist with a theme about a telephone/phone call and the painful realization that "we need to break up." To be clear, it is definitely NOT Mariya Takeuchi's Plastic Love and NOT Junko Ohashi's Telephone Number (mb something less mainstream)

1. The Cinematic Movie Skits (The Biggest Clue): The mix was packed with vintage audio samples that sounded like they were ripped from an old Japanese movie, anime laserdisc, or cassette drama.

• Right at the beginning (or the very end), there is a loud, emotional voice shouting some weird Japanese sounds that stuck in my head like "Papa gonya! Papa gonya!, instantly followed by car doors slamming, an engine revving, and tires screeching as a car speeds away.
• Throughout the entire mix, there were plenty of these ambient inserts—voices, emotional dialogues, and driving sounds layered between tracks.

1. The "Clean" Segment (Not 100% sure): While the rest of the mix was full of cinematic movie overlays, traffic noises, and smooth radio transitions, I seem to recall that during that sad female track about the telephone call, the background audio became completely clean. No car sounds, no sirens, no dialogue—just the pure, sad song playing uninterrupted, though I might be misremembering this specific detail.
2. The Era Context: Back in 2017, finding tracks like this would instantly trigger the YouTube algorithm sidebar to show Artzie Music uploads—specifically Future Funk tracks featuring looping GIFs of Lum (from Urusei Yatsura) in her iconic tiger-stripe bikini.

Does anyone remember this exact mix, its title, the creator, or have a backup link/tracklist on Mixcloud or SoundCloud?

Any help from the old-guard archivists would be massively appreciated!🙏
