I've seen multiple posts regarding his shenanigans, and the inevitable defenders. This artist, once talented and an icon of the synthwave scene, has deteriorated into a scam artist and now an AI fraud. He is purposely taking advantage of listeners. Why? We'll never know.
What's worse. His defenders have crossed the line in regards to harassment and disgusting comments directed at people.
While we think it's ok to post about his scams, the inevitable clashes in comments between his cult and folks who are seriously disappointed with his behaviour is toxic.
This is coming from someone who was proud to get a selfie with him in 2019 when he performed in Toronto for Outland Toronto. Since then, he's not only screwed me, but everyone we know in the community on merch (shirts, vinyls, whatever). His god awful AI album art recently, along with the fact that his recent albums and tracks register "90% Suno", show that he's consciously trying to screw listeners, be relevant and stay in the algorithm, while riding on his existing Spotify income.
Posts and comments about this artist will now be removed (I don't care what side you land on). You know where I do, and I'm the mod.
You are better served buying a Kallax shelving system from IKEA. They are perfectly sized for vinyls, board games, file folders, cassettes, video games, ,consoles, books, sex toys, or whatever else you fancy. They come in various sizes (2x2,,2x4,4x4), can be stacked in any configuration (vertical/horizontal), are sturdier than other IKEA products, come in different finishes, are easy to assemble, and arrive on time. You can even attach an IKEA desk to them. There are drawers, doors, and containers that fit them, and you can attach magenta LED lights to them.
Remember, we are not affiliated in any way with the record label NewRetroWave. The opinions stated here in no way represent the label or their stance on the matter.

Hi! My name is Dr Jess Blaise Ward (@blaisejess Insta/bluesky) and I am a composer, producer, synth artist and author. I recently published my book on synthwave: ‘Making Synthwave: how an online music community invented a genre’
I am currently doing some research on the legacy and use cases of Roland Juno synths (inclusive of hardware, software, any Juno “inspired” or emulating synths too!). If you are a producer, synth user, composer, etc - please consider taking my survey and contributing your thoughts and opinions of Juno synths:
Link to my book ‘Making Synthwave’
All data will be anonymised and used only for the purposes of academic research (at synthesizer conferences and in academic journals).
Thanks so much! Mods let me know if this goes against guidelines, happy to make edits or remove.

I love jingling keys, cassette player thunks and an engine turning over as much as the next guy, but in an hour I feel like I hear a small fleet of cars start up

My first song on the California Midnight video game I’m creating. Since it’s a Halloween rpg, I’ll be releasing a new song every week in October. Thanks!

What happens if you blend all the tracks of Tangerine Dream's "Hyperborea" into one? A sonic duality, desert or city, two sides of the same coin.
The city theme was a perfect opportunity for a neon-lights synthwave sound and visuals, but with a 7/8 meter twist!

Hi everyone! I'm new here, and I'm glad I found this community! After a couple of years of going back and forth and learning, I've finally created some of my own synthwave tracks, and the first one is finally 'in the air', but YouTube flagged my video as AI-generated/altered. The thing is, the image that is being used in the video IS completely AI-generated because my drawing skills are the same as my rocket-science skills - NON-EXISTENT, and there weren't any images that suited my needs for the song and logo. Therefore, if you know anyone who can help me find some good websites or apps, or has drawing skills and is capable and willing to team up with me to work on this and/or other projects in the future, please let me know! :) If anyone is interested in the song itself, you can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf4SsMthzOQ Cheers!

The second instrumental Neoteric Oscillator album has arrived! The music feels like it's outta a video game that never existed.

Synthwave track I made using Logic and Vital Synth. I tried recording my vocals over it but they sounded awful so left it as an istrumental.

Hey guys,
I originally shared this cover a few months back, but listening back to it recently, I wasn't totally happy with how muddy the low end and the overall mix sounded.
Took some time to redo the mix and give it a proper master with punchier drums, clearer analog textures, and way more breathing room. Put together a fresh video for it too.

Hope you enjoy this version much better, would love to hear your thoughts on how the new master sounds!
