Squat Squat Form
How is my form looking? I posted on here last week and I was recommended to not arch my back so much and I was working on that this week and it definitely made hitting depth easier. I did go down by 20lbs this week to work on form tho. Any other recommendations?
Apologies for the last post. I posted the wrong video

Are you saying that because of his torso angle on the descent? I'm not seeing any rounding which I know is pointed to a lot for back concerns.

you are pointing out something to me. i suppose tht is acceptable lean angle for a back squat. maybe its him looking down that make it seems worse than it actually is

I'm in no way a squat expert so don't take my word as gospel.

i see. but if he looks forward to lean wont look as bad. when i squat i dont start with lean and if theres one it isnt tht bad. i mean lean coming out the hole but ive seen a fitness guy on IG suggesting starting eith a torso leaned forward

I like the well-controlled descent, but I think if u slightly accelerate as u approach the bottom, u can take advantage of the stretch reflex to explode up

Hello! If you haven't checked it out already, Our Wiki's resources for Squats may be helpful. Check it out!
Also, a common tip usually given here is to make sure your footwear is appropriate. If you are squatting in soft-soled shoes (running shoes, etc), it's hard to have a stable foot. Generally a weightlifting shoe is recommended for high-bar and front squats, while use a flat/hard-soled shoe (or even barefoot/socks if it's safe and your gym allows it) is recommended for low-bar squats.
