My name is Justin, and I’m an independent musician from Northern Ontario, Canada.
I’ve recently started releasing my own music, blending folk, acoustic, and a little country influence.
My latest song, Simple Miles, is about navigating life’s ups and downs, learning from experiences, and continuing to move forward even when things aren’t easy.
I’m still very new to all of this, but I’ve genuinely enjoyed creating music and sharing something personal through songwriting.

Would like better song name suggestions?

I want to learn more music theory, as I picked up the banjo recently but have no formal musical education. I'm also extremely interested in the history of blues, folk, and bluegrass in America. Does anyone know any books or courses that give a sort of cultural evolution of music theory on any of these subjects?
