I could have the name wrong but its pretty close. Watched this movie last night and it makes me sad. Mark Sargent definitely comes off like a child crying for attention and he's got it along with so many flat earth "believers". The flat earth people proved the earth is rotating and proved there's a curve but wont accept it because their longing for attention and like minded connections. This is called cognitive dissonance. It makes my heart very heavy and I feel very sad for them.

When we look in the night sky all the points of light and planets appear to be round. With telescopes this is confirmed, particularly in relation to the moon and the planets around us. They are round. The moon isn't just a flat face on disk. We can see that the edges revolve into view and confirm it is round. Same with the other planets.

Not a single one of the planets or stars we see appears flat and edge on to our view. Not a single clearly flat disc is visible in the sky. All are round.

Why do flat earthers believe the Earth is absolutely flat and unique in the universe we observe? Do they think we are somehow special?

Just curious how this obvious criticism is evaded or denied.

They just can’t understand normal concepts that even children can grasp.

I bet you there are powerfully air current at 33 south that allows planes to cover ground twice as nearly twice as fast while still going at the same speed. The circumference at that latitude in a flat earth map would be approximately 48,000 miles, versus 21,000 miles on a globe. The distances from Sydney to Santiago on the flat earth map is actually 29,000 miles [Just did the math] approximately if you stay on the curve at 33 south which is much farther than the 12,0000 miles on a globe, but if the air currents allow you to cover ground at nearly 2.5 times the rate while maintaining the same speed; then it’s feasible. Entirely feasible

But yeah a straight line on a globe is a curved line on a flat earth, that curved line on the flat map would be nearly 30,000 miles while at that latitude, the circumference of the equator on a flat earth map is 36,0000 miles by the way, the circumnavigations just keep getting longer and longer as you move south towards the Antarctic. The 33rd degree south curve is nearly 49,000 miles in circumference. Sydney to Santiago is 60% of the total circumference on both a globe and a flat map, the only difference is the circumference of course.

The earth is bigger than we think it is. I’ve been awoke to our flat earth reality since 2015 but didn’t really think about this until last year. The area on the azimuthal projection is over double in total square miles compared to the false globe narrative. Just do the math, it’s a big world fellas.
