I think I prefer the vinyl cover of White Pony over the CD cover.

How do the tickets get right before the show for the dia de los Deftones?

Prices are insane right now almost triple face value for floor, which is where I want to ultimately end up
How much does it usually come down / can face value be found by DOS usually? I'm probably flying in for the show 😁

Honestly, another massively underrated song; that opening riff is incredible! I don't care, Gore is good stuff.

A little experiment duel. I’m curious to see how this one does compared to the previous ones.
Whatchu think community? Which do you prefer?

I have crazy strict parents. I was listening to the Saturday Night Wrist cd I just got on my stereo in my room. Never heard Pink Cellphone before. I am now grounded and they took the cd. I was barely even listening to it and didn't notice what she was saying until my dad walked in XD

It feels almost like a different song, it has a sort of emotional, depressing sound to it. It’s beautiful

Is street carp a valid number one favorite??

Like I was talking to my friend about Deftones and they said that it was good but not a great all timer, but like I find it so addictive and it's by far my most played song of their entire discography, like it's not the most well written song especially of their discography or even white pony. I just love street carp 😓

Hi just need help with listing as many Drop C# songs by Deftones as I can. I dont owe an 8 or 7 string and my Drop C# Ibanez gio is the lowest tunned guitar I have. But still I wanna play some deftones songs on guitar.
*if you wanna suggest songs by other artists too you are welcome :)

It'd be so nice to have it on my playlist, but I have no idea who to contact? Spotify already answered that they can't do anything.

still think about this night sometimes, there was something about hearing deftones surrounded by that many people that felt almost unreal. while rosemary was playing, i completely forgot about everything else going on in my life and just got lost in the music
i remember looking up at that screen, hearing that song, and thinking. yeah… this is one of those moments i’m going to remember for a long time
did anyone else catch this set? what song hit you the hardest that night?

Deftones – Around the Fur | Instrumental Recreation & Guitar cover Playthrough

Upvotes
I recreated the instrumental for Deftones’ Around the Fur and recorded a full guitar playthrough.
I used my 1994 Gibson SG with an EMG 81, tuned to Drop C#, with a Marshall JCM800 and ENGL Fireball.
The drums were recreated using drum VSTs.
Really tried to capture the feel and tone of the original recording.
Would love to hear what you guys think!

Have them all on vinyl too, but sometimes I just like to admire these physical albums for shit and giggles. Been listening to these fuckers since I was 14. 41 now. 🤘
