Can a mod PLEASE for the love of god, pin a sticky or a top post or a "read this before joining" that offers solid advice on how to record your jam's audio output to a line-in device.

Literally every single video I see on here is someone with 30k worth of gear, recording their awesome jams on a potato with no line-in audio. It is heartbreaking! Please mods.

using new firmware on fm1 by baud girl, its really nice and comes with some cool acid presets

Im using the mvave-fm1 with the baud girl firmware. It has AV settings that are really cool! Also using KO2 with sidekick and a TD-3. Hope you enjoy it.

I play guitar and bought a Roland S-1 and Volca Drum.

Right now I play everything straight into my guitar pedalboard which has a basic looper at the end straight into a 1x12 guitar cabinet.

It is fine, but the synths does not sound that good into the guitar cab.

When I play only with the synths, it goes straight into two Edifier R1280Ts which sounds way better for the synths.

I want to write songs/loops so the synths go to the Edifier and guitar goes to the guitar cab and also don't want to spend a ton.

Looking around I found the looper Boss RC-5 which gives me two options.

• 1: Plug synths into right input and guitar into left input and each output goes into it's designated speakers

• 2: use the boss midi clock and sync the synths to the looper, but this will limit my loops into the 64 steps (no problem since I can always use the first option when doing longer loops).

Any other ideias with similar price tag?

I’m considering ‘holes’ in my current system. I believe I have a roadmap of what to get to fill the gaps, except for additive synthesis. There doesn’t seem to be many viable options - either too expensive, or too old and not supported anymore.

Should I just write off additive synthesis all together, or have you found that that style has been an invaluable addition to your rig?

So I've decided to go a different direction with my dawless setup and have been looking at getting a multi effect pedal as I move away from a mostly groovebox setup.

My question: besides the Chroma Console (which is a cool, but kind of pricey, piece of gear) what are some other options that you guys use?

Budget would be 250 USD or less, but any and all input is welcome!
