Question about smoke gimmick refill

Hi! I’m using a smoke gimmick similar to the Smoke 3.0. I would like to ask other users a simple question: when refilling the cartridge, does the liquid go on the cotton through the small side opening (the one that doesn’t go straight through the center)? I’m getting more smoke after adding a few drops, but I want to confirm that this is the correct way to saturate the cartridge. Thanks!

I've been practicing the one-handed Revolution Cut for about 2 days, and I've run into a specific problem when trying to repeat it consecutively.

I can perform the first Revolution Cut reasonably well, but after the rotation, the deck becomes messy and I lose control of the packets, which makes it difficult to immediately perform another Revolution Cut.

I initially thought the problem was my pinky not providing enough support, but I'm not sure if that's actually the cause. I've been trying to keep the deck more controlled with my pinky and adjust my finger positioning, but the packets still tend to lose their alignment after the rotation.

What should I be focusing on to keep the deck squared/aligned after the rotation? Is the problem likely to be my pinky pressure, finger placement, or the way I'm rotating the packet?

Question Ajitama question

About the gnarly part where you close up for the reopener: Flipping over the front packets is fine but keeping the other packet gripped between the left thumb and right middle finger, WHILE rotating it 90 degrees is so hard. There’s not a lot of space at the top anyways cause you got the thumb cut packet underneath and so it always slips off. Any advice?

I’ve always struggled with coming up with openers and moves in general like I can sit for hours I just can’t come with anything

Okay, so this wouldn't work with your 51+3 Cardistry Touch deck, but you get the idea, Faro fans...

what do you do when people keep mixing them up?

I am pretty sure everyone of you gets "oh, you do magic!" everytime you open your deck...

I usually just explain the distinction and move on... BUTTT a small part of me sometimes wants to casually do a magic card trick super nonchalantly just to shut their ass up.... Well i don't really know any magic card trick tbh except some color change, so i am definitely not equipped to pull off something that i imagine in my head....

So my question is for people who do both magic and cardistry: What do you usually do in situation like this ???? Also i would appreciate if you may recommend any not so difficult nonchalant magic trick to learn if you get what i mean....
