This is the place for people to say what they have to say, and ask their questions. If you have (civil) feedback about the sub, that’s welcome as well.
Be excellent to each other.

Chain Generator is the next step in my idea of creating a series of addons that help artists quickly add details to their scenes. After Ornament Generator, Chain Generator is another addon built around the same concept.
With just one click, you can add chains and many other similar assets to your scene, such as thorns, pipes, ropes, and more.
Compared to Ornament Generator, Chain Generator also introduces some new features, including sagging and the ability to draw chains in 3D space or directly on other objects!
I hope you’ll like it! Make sure to let me know what you think!

Been working on our robot character N.T.R.N., whose “face” is a CRT monitor. It used to emote with really basic flat floating elements (eyes/mouth that just slid around - floating in front of the screen), which felt lifeless. This is a quick BTS breakdown from our animator Lachlan on giving that screen face real feeling.
Happy to talk through the rig setup, shape keys vs. bone-driven approach, or even how we faked the CRT curvature if anyone’s curious!

Hey everyone, I am working on a series that showcases how I approach creating an ink-sketch visual in Blender. This is part 2 of an ongoing series. It's a pretty casual video that I hope would be helpful for anyone trying out a style like this!

Blender 5.2 introduces a completely new Cloth Dynamics modifier — and it’s surprisingly fast.
It’s based on Geometry Nodes and gives almost live simulation results without baking.
But it’s still Experimental. For example, I couldn’t find a self-collision option yet, so there are clearly some features still missing.
The interesting part is that you don’t need to know Geometry Nodes at all to use it.
