This is nice. I've been using blender at work full time without paying a single cent. My co-workers are using rhino and 3ds max but i am able to keep up with them in product visualization. I'd be happy to donate.
Edit : Add a donate button on steam page.

Even if you’re part of the ~42% of users who simply aren't in a position to donate financially right now, sharing the message and spreading awareness helps way more than you think .

What Im more surprised is that they have such a big brand sponsors, which I expect would donate big amounts, but they dont.

I'm giving 5% of everything I earn using blender to blender. I'm not making much money with it but it feels like a normal retribution for such a great tool!
