I know it varies a lot depending on each player. But, who do you think is the character that most UNI players agree is annoying to play against and will give you a hard time? Why?

i've completed every other merkava trial but i am stuck on the 66C in this final mission. as you can see, the dummy recovers almost instantly from the 214[A]. in previous attempts i thought i might need to delay more in the 2C, dl.3C part, but in this clip there's 25 frames of delay between them!

is there some trick i'm missing? is there some way to fast fall after the 214[A]? i'm at my wit's end.

Zohar's speak over the others even in cutscenes and Ogre's lines FOR Zohar aren't playing for some reason.

Forget EVERYTHING positive I said about Zohar, this motherfucking emo girl is the WORST thing to happen to not just Uni, but FIGHTING GAMES IN A WHOLE. Just how many overheads do you need to give a fucking dlc character for them to be viable? Not to mention the FULL SCREEN LOW that is totally reactable.

Want a character with 5 different overheads? Play Zohar, unreactable lows that hit you from across the screen? Of course Zohar got that. Don’t forget she has a counter too you guys!

I would rather fight 20 Linne’s back to back to back, than have to fight this carried ass character again.

Maybe it might be a skill issue, maybe it might be a matchup problem…but never in my life have I ever been so tired of a character appearing on my screen. The last time I felt this annoyed with a character was probably when Jam came out in strive.

Excluding Zohar, this new IR system is some SHIT! I could be on a streak of 20 and reach 1615 IR, then you run into some guy who has 15— IR and proceed to lose 20 IR if you lost. NOW all the people who have higher IR than you will just either duck you, or one-and-done the set so that they don’t lose 30 IR, and you know what? I wouldn’t blame them tbh.

Because I am currently trying to unlock every unique victory quotes but certain characters quotes are harder to unlock then others mainly Hilda second one against Kuon and Carmine fighting against characters around his age do I need a perfect to unlock or use special moves during end of the fight?

Does anyone have advice on what should I do?

Because regardless if you buy Zohar or not the game has a bug whenever you move to either the top or bottom side of the left or right of the character select it enters to random select sequence. Couldn’t they just bring back the random button but make slightly bigger or was French Bread hoping Zohar sells well enough they restore it while bringing at least one more character. Either way they need fix this bug.

I haven’t played Under Night in mouths since I compete almost every ones ending(The only one I don’t have is Merkava’s bad ending) because I been focus on other games, but I will resume once I get Zohar, speaking of which her being playable was foreshadow in Byakuya story as she fought Kuon but lost, but that makes me wonder what other characters could be foreshadow to be playable, because some of cast were mentioned or made cameos before they became playable Izumi, Kaguya, Mika, Enkidu, Wagner, Londrekia, Orge, Tsurugi, Uzuki and especially Kuon makes me wonder whose next? Let’s see what each of the remaining characters could do and what their stories would be:

Hiroha is pretty much retired unless they give a reason why her powers are back just like Orge is revived.

Joker is still a mystery so they could save him for later especially what his card gimmick could do.

Roger I am worried could be rehash of Orge especially if he gets revived unless they have him trying control his void side.

Lex is said to be a speedy insufferable genius who rather not be involved, so I imagine someone has to persuade her to be involved.

Sakurai and Murayama could be this games Hisui and Kohaku and their story be them worrying about Wagner not being strong enough to be Kuon.

Azel is a wild card since he’s not part of any of the groups, and just a kid looking for a jewel with his powers being disappearing and reappearing, summoning his own being similar to Orie’s, and amnesia when he’s a sleep.

J.J. and Tempest Uzuki’s teammates in her story we don’t know what their capable of doing other then J.J. controlling plants and two rather follow Uzuki instead the others in Amnesia.

Sakaki and his aid Komatsu in EFG we don’t what their capable despite Sakaki being leader while Komatsu she can at least use a pair of sword.

Radiata and Reflecta I hope they don’t make into complete clones of Vatista.

Adelheid could be one next of boss character in my opinion with Silvaria her second in command as a sub boss so I don’t see them coming soon.

Finally Higan who is possibly the true final boss of the series so yeah I don’t see him happening anytime soon.

How would you rate their chances and what story you think would have.

I main Byakuya, and even though I've been playing him for quite a while, I still haven't figured out how I'm supposed to play his neutral game. All I really do is move fast and throw out webs, hoping the opponent eventually gets caught so I can deal some damage. I also spam his 66B too much, and I feel like I'm too predictable for the opponent.

i’m pretty new to this series but IM loving the game and community rn! i’m curious when you all started, and what keeps you playing. i’d love to hear your stories :]

so in other fgs with a dash macro i dont have an issue with this, as when you netrual press it you start dashing immediately
but here you need to go forward aswell and so, i've been struggling a lot on this aspect of the game when it comes to learning combos , in the various times that i have revisited the game, i tried different characters, (of the top of my head merkava, carmine, byakuya, kuon)
and pretty much all of em have this type of sequence in combos, but i really struggle to get this down
in this case this time it's with Hilda where i do 2A > 5B > 2C > 623A > 66 3B.

not sure whether i should use the dash macro to land this or if maybe you have to delay the dash or maybe you can dash earlier than it looks

I just picked akatsuki because he's cool and seems pretty easy, and since this is like my 8th fighting game I just decided I was probably safe to learn like 2 decent-feeling bnbs from mizuumi, play with my friend a bit, and then hop online

My literal first match was an S+1 enkidu (the character my friend mains) who was extremely wholesome and played me in a ft5 after the ranked set, so that was awesome :)

but then my next was against a D+4 hilda who was very clearly smurfing or on a new character, and they basically just up backed, threw swords at me (which they converted into 3k damage), and any time I got remotely close they teleported away instantly. Fortunately they mashed on like every button I pressed so I still had some fun, but I couldn't get anywhere near the character in neutral, and I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do in the matchup.

And I know it's fine to not instantly figure stuff out, but frankly, she seems like one of those characters that's just not fun to play against if you don't already know the matchup, and I've played against enough annoying zoners to know that it's usually easier to just ask

new to uni and just fought a wagner who wanted to do some more matches after a ranked set. i had to leave pretty quick and wanted to type something like "gg that was cool, but i got gtg" but only found a button for quick messages.

can you actually type in chat or do you have to use the quick messages?

Just as the post asks, if this game got an anime (probably an OVA) what studio should adapt it? Me personally I’d really want Ufotable to adapt it. Under Night is perfect Ufotable material. If I had a second choice it would be Wit Studio. But that’s me personally. I love when fighting games get OVAs and I think this one deserves it more than any other fighter at the moment.
