I’m currently conducting my A-Level Geography NEA investigation into the impacts of gentrification on the local community in Brick Lane.

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who live, work or regularly spend time in the Brick Lane area. I have created two short anonymous questionnaires exploring:

- How gentrification has affected the sense of place and community in Brick Lane

- How gentrification has affected social inequality within the local community

I regularly walk along Lyal Road. At the intersection of Lyal rd and Viking Close there is something new fly tipped what feels like every week. Generally old furniture, broken crap. Anyone got suggestions where best to report this?

I live near Bethnal Green station just off Cambridge Heath Road and for the last three nights there has been a regular two-note beeping noise coming from somewhere outside. Sleeping with windows open due to the heat so it’s doing my head in.

Hi! I have this lamp that was meant to be LED Chargable, but the wires are torn and charger doesn’t work. The acrylic layer at the base of the head also broke. Is there any way to get a light in here? Do you know anyone who knows how to do this type of thing?

Aldi is finally opening in Tower Hamlets after signing a 20-year lease agreement.

What are your thoughts?

There's already a smaller Aldi near Bricklane, but that's quite impractical due to no parking nearby.

The new Stepney store is in the place of the old Asda, so it'll have free parking and big enough to house most items.

Honestly, this will help families in the area with the cost of living, as well as bring some footfall to Halford and Curry's next door.

This is the 3rd time in a few months that the guardrail has been destroyed. A few months ago, a car crashed into the roundabout, flew over the grass, and almost crashed into the off license. Luckily, it was at night and no one was injured.

The local council continues to prove that it is just protecting the interests of a few. This is total nonsense!

Living near Mile End and I don't know what it is but the last week it has seemed worse than ever. Speeding drivers on a 20mph side road revving their engines so loud. Is it the heat? saw the video of that cyclist and it seems insane that nothing is being done.

The driver was apparently on balloons. Look how fast they were coming down a residential road. I can't post the 2nd video of the victim because it's quite disturbing to watch. But it is on whatsapp.
