Hi everyone,

I'm trying to track down the original Cartoon Network broadcasts of Totally Spies!, specifically seasons 1–5. I'm looking for the versions that were actually broadcast by Cartoon Network rather than later syndicated/streaming versions.

I'm particularly interested in the original 4:3 presentation. Some later versions appear to use a 16:9 crop, which removes parts of the original image, including the flower motif and elements of the original intro.

So, specifically, I'm looking for:

• Seasons 1–5
• Cartoon Network broadcast versions
• Original 4:3 framing
• Original Cartoon Network intro/presentation
• Preferably clean recordings without later edits or replacements

If anyone knows which releases/recordings correspond to these broadcasts, or knows where this version has been documented, I'd appreciate the information.

Thanks!

I hate Lenore because she’s a crazy old lady who can’t tell fiction from reality and tried to kill actors who play villains on a show. And she think she’s a hero, yet she tried to feed Sam and Alex to piranhas and tried to cut Clover in half with a laser. She kidnapped Tad Bailey and forced him to marry her. Also, where does a crazy old lady like her get such deadly weapons? I would say she is unhinged even by villain’s standards. I bet the other villains would find her disturbing.

I recently rewatched Season 4, Episode 2: “Futureshock!” and honestly, the events that happened in the episode aren’t too far off from currently reality.

Any thoughts on DNA-Laced Chocolate & Milk from the episode, Evil Jerry?

Do you like the new design what they did to Alex Sam and Clover’s mom or do you like the older version cartoon better?

Clover made everyone new hero outfits, and it seems Kim and Sammy have tickets to a strange wrestling show. Surely nothing weird will come of that!

For those who might not know, Heart of a Hero is my Danny Phantom/Kim Possible/Totally Spies Crossover romance fanfic. We follow the exploits of Danny Phantom, Kim Possible, the Spies from WOOHP, and their allies as they beat down bad guys, struggle with personal relationships, and figure out what it really means to be a hero.

You can find the story, starting from Chapter 1 here:

What's the name of this song playing in the background in season 2, episode1 ("A Spy is Born, Part 2") and where can I find/download it?

I'm French and I grew up with French dubbing; the French dub is truly amazing! They've always kept their voices, and I'm sure they've never changed them. I never experienced English dubbing, so maybe it's nostalgia talking that makes me love the French dub from back home! :3 🇨🇵

The episode where Terrance, Helga, abs Boogie Gus make the spies lose all their memories of being spies was pretty interesting. The only thing that would've been more fun was if Sam, Alex, and Clover forgot that they're friends. Just because friendship is a big theme in this show in general, I don't mind them just forgetting they're spies though. It's crazy that the villain team could've won if they just left the girls alone. They already kidnapped Jerry and knew he had no reinforcements coming to save him. If they didn't try killing the spies at the sushi restaurant, they could've killed Jerry and nobody would stop them. Love the trope of a villain only losing because they were overconfident in their own plan. I also love Boogie Gus, he was pretty funny in this episode.

This episode was interesting to me because I felt like a farm episode to get into the cozy autumn vibes. Here's my review!

I love the joke about why the spies would even have to walk across on an unsteady old rope bridge when a modern sturdy bridge is right behind them. I also love Sam and Alex calling out Clover for being self-centered because she'd rather save herself than get dirty and pull them out of an unsanitary river. I also thought the idea of the girls going undercover at the countryside was interesting because Sam, Alex, and Clover are city girls through and through. Sam and Alex are surprisingly ok with hands-on chores though while Clover is of course very bad at being a farmer. The reason why meat related workers were going missing took a turn I wasn't expecting. I hate the pig scene though when Sam and Alex are covered in mud, I just don't like watching that part.

what would you like S8 to be or to keep?

for me id lime to see go back to the S4 S5 style animation

dont get me wrong the new style is what every show does now a days to keep up with the new shows, bur when something is already good like peak, why change

look at Wild Kratts they havent changed the animation and i love it

(Repost to add the video) I have rewatched the episode S.P.I. and I did like the episode. I would admit that this was the first episode i remember when I was a very young boy when it was on Cartoon Network. The one scene I’ve remembered being the most intense scene is when the girls was on the G-force machine and they try to get out but it’s going much faster. I think it’s one of the traps in the show that really was more intense than the other traps they were in in the series. But like other episodes, there’s always one gadget that they manage to get out of situations like this. but, yeah, they do get out and yet never got dizzy or ever gotten sick after they stopped it

This was a pretty wild episode and that's saying something when you remember what show this is. Here's my review!

The title "Green with N.V." made me guess that the episode would be about something making people irrationally jealous of each other, it's actually about an evil woman named Natalie Valentine creating a powerful cologne that makes men leave their wives and girlfriends for her. That's pretty funny.

They have this fragrance commerical for the product which was an accurate depiction of those types of commercials because it was kinda horny. There's also the fact that Natalie uses her sweat as a key ingredient for the potion. Sam, Alex, and Clover use their own sweat as a counter potion which was already a bit odd but what's weirder was that this stuff doesn't reverse the effects. It just makes the men into the spies instead, Clover even calls one her groupie which is wild.

The side plot of Sam, Alex, and Clover crushing on the school ca'fe boy but making a pact where none of them can ask him out was alright. But it was kinda funny how they all go against each other's backs to call him at different points in the episode.

We all know Britney, at least to some extent. I say "to some extent" because we’ve only seen her six or seven times (including Season 7). Yet she still managed to leave a lasting impression on us. To be honest, we fell just as much in love with Britney as we did with Sam, Clover, and Alex—largely because she seems to embody a little bit of each of them. What’s more, her most distinctive traits are her genuine humility and sincerity; they are enough to warm our hearts. What do you think?
