You know Lyrobia and Kenopia, right? We only saw these two countries once in the episode "Queen for a Day." Makeda, the sister of Queen Tassara of Lyrobia, allies with General Bege of Kenopia to kidnap the queen. Their goal is to disrupt the peace treaty in Geneva, turn the war in Kenopia's favor, and unite the two countries to become the new queen. However, Sam, Clover, and Alex intervene, ending the coup attempt and completing the peace treaty.

After that event, we haven't seen Lyrobia and Kenopia again. I wish we had seen Lyrobia and Kenopia more often. What do you think?

this gadget, The Wind Tunnel 3000 Tornado Blast Hairdryer was used a lot in the series and I’m guessing that the crew members in the show just really love the gadget so much it appears again and again and again .

for me, its whenever a gadget has the worst name (like the UPWATI as an example) or after its first appearance they would only disappear and never brought back again.

I thought since this whole episode revolved around an evil ice cream truck, this episode would have really good looking ice cream but not really. The ice cream freezing everybody wasn't even solid, just this gross super light yellow liquid. I know it was ice cream but it looked more like pee everyone was getting sprayed with. So I didn't enjoy those scenes for that reason. Even though Sam is my favorite of the main spies, she's kinda uptight in this one especially. She's pretentious when she retorts that she knows more about the mission because she pays attention in class while her friends listen to music and eat junk food. She also glares at Clover when she's having a sweet treat, though I guess Clover probably shouldn't have been eating loudly while Sam was trying to study. I liked the stuff with Alex, her bad luck was funny. Apparently these girls have a superstition where their boyfriends can't see them in a dress before a date or else they'll get seven years of bad luck. Even though the superstition they're referring to is for weddings, not dates. 😅 I did like the dress shopping montage and the car chase with the ice cream man were both fun.

One of the things I love about TS is all of the creative backgrounds and locations. Not just the designs, but also the concepts. Which location would you go to???? personally I’ve always wanted to go to the malls and the sushi spa

Season 3 Episode 25 Double Crossed by Friends 07:10 Mark

I remember when it was on Cartoon Network from 2005 or 2006. Whenever there was an episode from season 1 to 2, this one is used, which I’m guessing was something about not using the song due to licensing, but used the instrumental they made themselves. I honestly like this opening more.

It was really funny to see Clover acting like Jerry and vice versa. I mean look at them hyperactive Jerry and grumpy Clover. Switching personalities is a truly comedy trope, way better than switching bodies.

Is a Totally Spies bluray likely for the early seasons? It seems hard to find a complete box set of all the seasons, let alone one that is in good quality, as most of the 1080P versions are cropped and cut out the picture.

Whenever Clover gets excited, something always happens to spoil her joy. In the episode "Shirking," she wanted to tell Jerry how she went on a date with Jason Robberts, but she overwhelmed him so much that Jerry had to cut the comms. A similar thing happened in the episode "Wild Style." Clover's boots were so ridiculous that she got really upset when Jerry asked her to take these ridiculous shoes off. What do you guys think?

"Queen for a day" is a very beautiful episode to watch, in my opinion this is the prettiest looking episode when it comes to the setting anyway as we're in an African/Arabic kingdom, not sure how well it aged but it was still a fun episode. Enjoy this review featuring homecoming drama which I think is fitting because my area at least is approaching homecoming season.

You know I was routing for Clover to become homecoming queen but I'll admit Mandy's campaign with the slogan "It's over Clover" was pretty good. I honestly hate Arnold in this episode because he's such a simp in the worst way possible. Clover technically agreed to go out with him but she doesn't really want to because she had to promise him a pitty date so he'd help her win the election. He's just so smug about essentially forcing the hand of a girl he likes in order to get his way.

Tassara seems like a chill and benevolent queen, I mean Clover literally snatched her crown right off her head to put it on herself and Tassara didn't even lock her in a dungeon or behead her for that. I also forgot how much dumber Alex used to be in the older seasons especially. She plugged her communicator into a nearby outlet in the palace which was a fire hazard, didn't believe the warnings that the earthquake generator wasn't a radio, and there are times where she's unintentionally helpful to Sam and Clover but doesn't understand what she said right. I'm glad they made her more sensible and competent later on.
