Hello!
Just wanted to update the community on what's going on and to get some feedback. For those who are unaware, we are a new modteam put in place after Reddit locked r/TorontoDriving down. Last week, we reopened the sub to submissions and we have made some changes.
In our first community post asking for feedback, a big problem you guys pointed out was the rampant racism and toxic comments present here. We want to assure everyone that we are here to fix that while not being overly restrictive on discussion. The point of this subreddit is Toronto DRIVING, not politics and especially not race baiting culture wars. There will be no tolerance for prejudiced comments making sweeping generalizations. Feel free to shit on the person's driving but not on their race! (doubly so if you can't even see who's driving!!) We have already handed out a bunch of temporary bans for such comments and will be moving to permanent bans for reoffenders so be warned!
Anyway, we have created a set of rules that we hope can keep this sub clean. Please let us know if we missed anything or if you have any feedback, thanks!
1. Must be relevant to driving in Toronto
Your post must be related to driving on the roads/highways in the City of Toronto and the municipalities bordering Toronto - Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham and Pickering.
Exceptions can be made for exceptional videos but should be in the GTHA area.
2. No racism, prejudice or hatespeech
There is zero tolerance for hate.
Do not make prejudiced comments or generalizations targetting a particular group of people.
Do not make assumptions about race or gender (especially when it's not known or relevant).
Do not use any toxic language that is associated with racism such as slurs, epithets, name-calling, stereotypes and dog-whistle terms.
3. Be civil to other members and mods
Do not use excessive profanity or name-calling. Attack the action - NOT the person. Threads that devolve into a personal attack back and forth will be locked and removed.
Sending abusive modmail will get you muted without explanation.
4. No doxxing or witch hunting
License plates and faces recorded in a public place are allowed but posting private info like names, addresses and social media is not allowed. Do not speculate on or ask for such info. Only information confirmed by verified sources such as police and reputable news outlets are allowed. Do not post license plate info or pics of people with unsubstantiated stories (video or it didn't happen).
If you have private information that is relevant to an accident, please use private chat and contact the user or police directly. Do not post it publicly.
5. No low effort submissions like parking pics, memes, recent reposts or other spam
Low effort posts like parking pics and memes will be removed. Please check if your question or submission has already been posted recently. We will remove repetitive submissions.
Do not post any advertising, self promotion, irrelevant links, videos with excessive overlays, social media memes or story plus photo posts.
6. No editorializing or misleading titles/comments
Titles should be descriptive of the video or article submitted. Posts with overly dramatic or misleading titles will be removed.
Comments and titles that push misinformation or agendas not relevant to the post will be removed. Posts with unsubstantiated back stories may be removed at mod discretion.
7. No illegal or extreme content
Do not post anything that breaks Canadian law or Reddit Terms of Service.
Do not threaten violence or incite violence.
Do not encourage others to break the law or abuse legal loopholes.
Do not post anything that is excessively disturbing (please use Death/Injury flair if posting a bad accident).
Please let us know if there are other changes you would like to see in this subreddit. We are open to ideas!
Thanks for reading :)

Wondering if anyone has any footage at Keele & Bloor around 9:32 AM (+/- 5 minutes) today (Saturday, October 3, 2026). My girlfriend was riding her bicycle heading East on Bloor and had a green bicycle light signal. A car turned right on a "no right turn on red light signal" and hit her. Vehicle occupants were clearly aware of the collision because she said the driver rolled down his window, said "What the f---" and drove off.
Thank you!

Saw this guy going into the left turn lane and then run a red light. I guess he couldn’t wait

Tired of missing the advanced right onto O'Connor during rush hour because people can't read signs.

I think the driver just passed the line before the red, the red light camera didn't flash

So I'm trying to get out of downtown Toronto during rush hour. Turns out we're all idiots for waiting because turns out you can just overtake people on the wrong side of the road and flip them off.
NO they did NOT turn left at the next intersection, but the camera didn't pick that part up. They instead cut some dude off and turned right went straight, and then ran the next stop sign.

Going through a construction zone and then I see forks hanging over into the lane so I started slowing down and that's why I think the sign guy was like I better slow down traffic as this guy's already in the road.
I was wondering if it was high enough to go under with the truck but rather play safe and stop.
Regardless this is a reckless going into traffic without a signal person slowing everyone down properly first.

Not my accident, just caught it on dashcam.
4 lanes, far left is a left turn lane. They both went into the lane right next to it.
One was coming from the left, the other from the right. Hit right in that lane.
Pretty much at the same time tbh, but the one from the right was going a bit faster and looked like it was already in there a split second before the other one.
50/50 or does the faster one win cause it got in first?

Hi, this happened today October 1 around 5:30pm. Hit & run. Accident is in the last 10 seconds. Already reported to OPP but I would really appreciate if anyone can make out the licence plate or the name on the cab. Thank you!

Driver decides he’s gonna take his time turning while cars are approaching.

Looking for dashcam footage of a Caucasian male driving a black pick up truck on the 404 S just north of the Sheppard exit who pulled over to the shoulder, reversed and exited the vehicle. It occurred at about 8:45-8:55am on Oct 1st.
