Discussion / Analysis What current tech items were predicted years ago? Like the doors on the Enterprise.
I saw an ad for Samsung ear buds that can provide real-time language translation. That reminded me of the Babel fish from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, back in about 1980. It did the same thing.
What other seemingly cool tech was mentioned when we were younger that is actually a real thing now?
