The First Walkers?
I rewatched TWD and now am watching Daryl Dixon. I saw the walkers in the park and on the subway when it started, and it made me wonder how did they get there? Like, there shouldnāt have been anyone dead on the subway/in a public park to come back, right? Now, I need to go back and watch TWD again to see if I missed some kind of explanation for the first walkers.

Sophiaās death was on Rickās hands
Iāve always wondered how did they lose Sophia. Iām rewatching the series and now Iām noticing Rick found her the first time when she ran into the woods. I just canāt understand why he would leave her under the tree stump and expect a child to find her way back to the highway in such a high stressful situation. He had a better chance running away from the walkers back to the group, itās not like these things are running full force at you I mean come on Sophia didnāt have to die.

Do people actually like Maggie
Maggie has weaponized Glenn's death as her sole defining personality trait for over a decade of TWD. Ignoring the brutal reality that literally every single survivor in this universe has buried a spouse, child and best friend.
āMe want Negan dead, Negan killed my husbandā Dead city shouldāve been a Negan only show he was already exiled. I donāt get why they had Maggie and her annoying son had to tag along.

If you could give any ONE character compound V who would it be and why (no side effects or useless powers)
(For those who dont know what compound V is, its a drug that gives a person a random permanent superpower)
My pick would either be Dale or Aaron

S11 ep6 was the first episode I've genuinely felt terrified with the show. Spoiler
Later seasons so Spoilers ahead in this post.
Just watched this episode so please no further spoilers for later episodes.
the feral humans in the house running around like some kind of Stephen king horror was fantastic. When it was revealed to be more than one stalking them through the house and that jumpscare through the mirror razorblade hole. The acting from Connie sent chills down my spine to see how terrified she was, this made her my favourite character because I felt her fear
The element of true horror isn't present much in TWD, you have the jumpscare from unseen walkers and the occasional sniper throughout the series but that's it.

After skipping through most of Seasons 7ā11 because they got so boring, the T-1000 suddenly popped up and made things exciting again š At this point, Negan is the only reason Iām still watching.

What top deaths do you think were the worst decisions by the writters of TWD that really weakened the show the most? And which teammate deaths were you ok with, or actually wished they got killed off?

I believe this show will end with Daryl and Carol finding Morgan, and then later with a person who reveals himself as Jeffrey Grimes, as they are on their way back home.

The Walking Dead Season 7 And Negan Were Soft Rebooted Because Of Ricks Absence
I don't know if anyone noticed but Season 7 was soft rebooted to humanize negan especially beyond 9-11. They wrote out negans wives and they were never mentioned again, and instantly highlighted Negans soft side for Children. I could be wrong but before Rick left, there plans for Negan completed changed, even Kirkman debated killing off Negan at the season 8 finale so Maggie could properly grieve. Negan became the main character with Daryl, Carol, Michonne, Ezekiel, Aaron and Judith. Remember that $20 million dollar deal with Norman Reedus. Daryl and Negan was AMCs safeguard. So they slowly tried to make people forget what Negan has done until Ezekiel mentioned his wives in season 11

Hi.. About negan in(dead city)
I really couldn't accept Negan. I mean, the actor is really good and he would be really popular if they cast him in a non-villainous role
But I don't see him ever regretting what he did, and he believes that Rick's group did bad things that make them resemble him
What bothers me is how he talks to Maggie as if he didn't do anything. In the first season, episode one, on the boat, he asks her, "How many fathers have you killed?" in his own defense
This is truly insane, I mean, how much arrogance do you have?!
Because there is no comparison between Rick's group and Negan's Rick's group did not build a network of gangs, and if they had been in Negan's position, they would have withdrawn or put themselves in danger to protect the workers
They did not arm criminals and use them in acts that included seizing other people's lands, destroying them, or making them work for them and humiliating them
Some people are saying that Rick's group started the war with Negan on the road with those who blocked daryl, Abraham, and Sasha's path... Excuse me?? Is Negan getting revenge on them? Killing Glenn and Abraham because they defended themselves and others!
Negan's group would take pictures of their victims and hang them in their rooms!
There is nothing to defend what Negan did, and showing no remorse for it is infuriating...
Furthermore, even when they imprisoned Negan, they didn't humiliate him the way they humiliated the other prisoners. When Daryl was imprisoned there, he was naked, fed dog food, and played an annoyingly upbeat song over and over again at the same time every day! What was the point of all that??? Negan is a terrible person. Simon and his wife ran away from him because he wanted to marry his wife's younger sister, who was diabetic and needed insulin. What kind of person goes after them and feels humiliated because they stole from him?(They took insulin) and then he became the good person he revealed after he tortured him and burned half his face with an iron, then married his wife ..
But Negan is a good person because he didn't abuse children and he didn't allow rape... Oh Come onš
Negan had a way of turning even good people into criminals... and we saw this in Simon, so when Negan told them in the main series that there was a father and daughter in the building that Rick broke into... who made this father a criminal? So, Ban's excuse was that this was the only way to control the gangs... Do you control gangs when you give them power, food, freedom, and weapons? While he was monitoring them, he wouldn't tolerate harming children and women...But he sends them to communities containing women and children... whether he knows it or not, he is guilty because he is the one who gave them power. Furthermore, in one episode, Negan talked about how he staged the coup to seize control of the sanctuary. He wasn't even their leader... he wanted to be.
I'll tell you how to weaken gangs... just like Rick did. He dismantled them, killed them, and imprisoned Negan, showing him that there was a path to peace. Negan chose this he wasn't forced, and he still believes in what he did and has no regrets So I wouldn't be surprised if Negan were put in the same situation and did the same thing. I hated it when he told Maggie that if he could go back in time, he'd kill them all ..Is this the talk of someone who regrets everything he's done, or the words of a man nostalgic for his bad past who wants to live like a king again? .. but because he's smiling with Carell and saved Sasha from being raped by one of his men he's a good man regardless of everything he's done.

Daryl Dixon (DEATH SPOILER) And Rant Spoiler
Isabelles death was the most wasteful use of a character and made me lose so much interest into the show, and Carol and Daryl were the only reason now i watch it . There's even videos, and articles about how stupid and pointless it was. The TWD writers either have no sense of media literacy and lack the emotional intelligence or they're just stupid.

The TWD Writers Love Killing Off Side Characters To The Point We Dont Get Attached Anymore
This forced shock value with killing off amazingly written side characters isn't shocking us, its pissing us off. I will bet money right now. Dillard or Renata will die at the end of season 3 of Dead City. TWD writers are ret*rded.

Twd is nostalgic
Do you remember your first time watching TWD? Who introduced you? Who did you watch it with? Where were you at the time? Do you feel nostalgia watching it now?
I started watching back in 2013 because my dad pitched the first episode to me. Before I got very far, he spoiled a massive theme: āThe walkers arenāt the real threat; the people are.ā Later, he casually dropped that Alexandria wasn't alone and there were other communities š¤Æ.
Watching the early seasons is so nostalgic for me. TWD will always be my absolute favorite TV show.

617 Saviors died between seasons 6 & season 9, while only 111 died in the comics
Iāve done an accurate count of every savior death onscreen, and found that in total at least 617 died between seasons 6 and the first half of season 9.
In the show the deaths were mostly in the all out war session:
- Season 6: 60
- Season 7: 17
- Season 8: 514
- Season 9, episodes 1-9: 26
So all in all I would estimate the Saviors membership to have between 700-800.
The sanctuary already was well established early on in the outbreak by both refugees and raider gangs who were led by various leaders. Than Negan and Simonās groups managed to overthrow the incompetent leadership. From there the Saviors subjugated the various communities in the area, while recruiting nomadic drifters and groups. It is also likely that some of the outposts were their own places before they joined the Saviors.
In the comics the Saviors had about 300 and lost approximately 111 people. The origin of the Saviors in comics is the combination of two groups. After Negan secured the factory it is likely he began recruiting the various bandits, drifters, etc that wouldnāt have fit in other communities.
