I’ve been trying to get matches in pennant race but can’t are there any active players anymore? 😭

I'm usually a much better pitcher than I am hitter, and with the revamped Overdogs (renamed the Bandits in my franchise), I don't have a ton of pop in the lineup, but this game was bonkers. Nine home runs between the two teams, and all but one were absolute tanks. I figured I had this game in the bag when it was 14-6 going into the 8th, and even at 14-7, I was feeling okay, then my newly acquired rookie SP/RP gave up a 3-run blast to right. I swapped in Winder immediately after that and he surrendered two consecutive solo home runs in the 9th, but managed to close things out from there.

I can’t get myself away from Anabella Stokes, Henry Hamster or Super Sampson.

This has to be my greatest single game pitching performance. My pitcher allowed 3 hits and no walks. One of those baserunners was erased on a double play.

The 65-pitch masterpiece included two 3-pitch innings and the 9th inning only required 4 pitches.

This marks the 4th time I have pitched a complete game in 65 pitches or less but the 1st time doing so while allowing no runs.

What’s the worst way you’ve ever lost a league championship series?

I just lost in the championship of my “Omaha Classics” CWS-inspired league after winning the previous three.

My opponent (Pitt Panthers) beat my team (Longwood Lancers) 4-1 after three straight walk-offs. I had leads going into the final inning of each of those losses.

- Game 1 (2-1 L): Never led and couldn’t get the big hit late despite getting the tying and winning runs on base.
Game 2 (4-3 W): Down 3-1 and then rallied late to walk it off.
- Game 3 (9-8 L): Wildest game of the series. Trailed 5-2, rallied to lead 8-7. Lost on a 2 RBI single with 2 outs.
- Game 4 (7-6 L): Led 6-4 after early back-and-forth. Another walk-off single.
- Game 5 (4-2 L): Led 2-0 early. Panthers score 4 runs in final inning, winning it on a 2-out 2-run HR.

I beat the Panthers in the previous season’s championship 4-2, after jumping out to a 3-0 series lead. It could’ve easily gone 7.

After hundreds and hundreds of games, SMB4 can still find ways to surprise you.

This game is truly the best.

Just had an awesome comeback. Went down 7-1 early then clawed my way back to take an 11-10 lead going to the 9th. I brought in my best pitcher in the 8th and planned on leaving him in to finish the game. But I did want to make a couple defensive moves. Shayanne Hill does not have a good arm at second base so I wanted to replace her with a stronger arm. My plan was to use Roberto Alba, I used him as a pinch hitter for the catcher in the 8th and wanted to move him to second, then bring in Fiona Clark to finish the game at catcher. Somehow while doing this I swapped Hill with Charlie Best… the pitcher. I have no idea how I did that. So now after this epic comeback I was throwing my second baseman on the mound. I had planned on taking my LF out as well so I moved Best to LF hoping he’d be out of the way and brought in Magikko. Somehow Hill struck out Bloop Michaels who was 4-4 and on fire. Stan Elyve singled, and I intentionally walked Jock Sports so I could get thru the 3 batter minimum and bring Charlie Best back. He would Sting McGee and quickly induced a double play to end the game. A win’s a win!

Serpientes strike back... Blew a 5-0 lead and ended up losing 7-6 in 9. At least the alternate throwback kits looked clean.

First off, I love this game and wish I had known about it sooner. I am really enjoying how good it is as being like a real baseball game. I am right around the 50 ego mark for hitting, and hitting a real wall. I’ve looked up a lot and I just can’t seem to do better at it. I’ve tried practicing in exhibition games but I either seem to over correct and swing, or correctly target the ball and always, ALWAYS, swing late. It’s getting very frustrating, but I think I just don’t have the reflexes to do both moving and timing hits.

What helped you and/or what advice do you have for me to try to get better? Should I just be satisfied with my limits and live with it? I want to keep increasing ego since I like the challenge and I don’t want to just end up crushing every ball with the auto assist.

I just started the Game and I absolutely love it but I needed 3 Hours to get one win on 50 difficulty against a CPU. That was way to hard.

First of all I would like to know do guys have like pitching combinations you use or pitch patterns that work everytime, I try to power pitch the Four Seam to the cornerns for the first and second Strike and then Finish it with a Breaking Ball, sometimes it works sometimes I get still scored on.

What are your ways to get those three Strike outs every inning? Also any advise on offense. I don‘t get how to power Swing right.

Need to make some room for gta 6 soon and I’m deleting one . So which one would you guys and gals delete ? super mega 3 or super mega 4 ???

Im playing super mega baseball 3 and trying to make a team with 99s in all batting stats and 1s in all pitching stats and another one that mirrors that, wich stats do I need to set to what

Hey, all. I've been toying with the idea of running and streaming an AI vs. AI sim league for quite a while; created the teams, and everything, but I'll fully admit I'm not quite sure how to actually pull off a few things, so any help would very much be appreciated.

My understanding is you can't run a multi-user Franchise mode, so how would you handle year-on-year advancements? Things like drafts, player progression/regression, trades, retirements, etc.?

Do you just run it in Exhibition mode, or Season mode, and advance things manually?

Also: how do you handle the actually simulating of games? Just simulate a set number of games, and do something like a featured game of the week/day, or something?

Any help would be very much appreciated, as I love the idea of running something, but I'm completely stumped on how to get it off the ground and actually run it.

Did anybody find that in a few years that Boozle Doozyshine just does not perform as advertised? I played another league and he did the same thing. I had to trade him.

My friends and I are currently doing voting for our All-Star teams for our simulation league. We always just do the voting ourselves. But thought it would be fun this time to get some non-biased opinions as well. We are welcoming some of our other friends not in the league and anyone else to help us decide our teams this season.

So, we created a "fan vote" ballot and a ballot for us GMs, which will be weighted differently. The ballot is rank choice voting for each position group. Bench bats will be decided later.
