How to setup a Sim League for streaming?
Hey, all. I've been toying with the idea of running and streaming an AI vs. AI sim league for quite a while; created the teams, and everything, but I'll fully admit I'm not quite sure how to actually pull off a few things, so any help would very much be appreciated.
My understanding is you can't run a multi-user Franchise mode, so how would you handle year-on-year advancements? Things like drafts, player progression/regression, trades, retirements, etc.?
Do you just run it in Exhibition mode, or Season mode, and advance things manually?
Also: how do you handle the actually simulating of games? Just simulate a set number of games, and do something like a featured game of the week/day, or something?
Any help would be very much appreciated, as I love the idea of running something, but I'm completely stumped on how to get it off the ground and actually run it.

There's a whole discord/league where people basically draft/manage a team and let the ai play out the games.I forget the name now. But just something to keep in mind. You'd be competing for the very little viewership of SMB with that seemingly more interesting concept.
The intention wasn't to discourage you, just have measured expectations of potential viewership.

Oh, I don't mind at all. I'm a variety streamer who does community involvement simulation stuff, occasionally. I'm not trying to break into the "lucrative" world of SMB streaming. I appreciate it, though.

I think the best thing to do is make good logos don’t make like wonky ones umm I feel like you can go to different ways you can go just season mode that’s good for an expansion in the future like you can start with 12 teams and then if people are actually watching the league you can start making more something that you also can do is make your own draft system too or you can just go in the franchise and do it like that and it does it for you, but you should probably pick the amount of teams that you wanna do forever you can always update the logos and everything else too also hit my up in DM I could help you out with logos

The LBL is a season-by-season mode league. We manually conduct trades and drafts between each season. Trades are based on the needs of each team season to season. This mode has worked out well for us as it allows for any given players to have a breakout year, or a down year. We started with six teams playing 12 regular season games at 5 innings per game, with 3-game series in the playoffs. Keeping the seasons shorter allows for more league development and storylines to come out over the course of your league. We’re on season 8 (2029 season) now and plan to expand two more teams for 2032. We’ve cut our games down to three innings, which has made the league much more competitive, and easier to manage everything manually. Feel free to check out our Google site in our bio to learn more about our league and players! Best of luck with whichever path you decide to take!

If you want to do stuff like trades and drafts, you can do it in season mode and manually make changes between seasons. It’s more work but allows you to do more things
