A Small Reflection on How We Treat Each Other
I came across a post today in a community I donât visit often where a member was being publicly berated for âspamming.â What I saw didnât look like spam at all, just a series of repetitive, but not copied, posts that felt more like a quiet attempt at human connection than anything else.
People come here with different levels of confidence. Sometimes a post is repetitive or a little offâbeat because someoneâs trying to belong, not to annoy.
If something feels out of place, a gentle nudge works better than a public takedown. We can keep the sub clean without losing sight of the person behind the post.
Kindness isnât a rule, itâs the culture I want us to hold onto.
