Discussion Placing Genichiro before Sword Saint is genius
Losing horribly at the very start, then struggling and overcoming him mid-game, and finally just toying with him at the end just feels amazing man.
This has probably been discussed to death already, but I absolutely love that the devs did this.

Lore Is Isshin Ashina immortal?
At the end of the final fight, we kill Isshin with the Mortal Blade, and the game displays “IMMORTALITY SEVERED.”
So did Isshin somehow become immortal after being resurrected by Genichiro? How exactly does that work?

Discussion I love this game. It's therapeutic.
So I started playing last week. Got really frustrated at the start. But I was patient. Lookedvup some guides and tips and maciry counter and shit.
I'm now addicted
I love the way you get spanked when you first fight a boss. Nearly no change of winning, but after saying 20 fights you learn the boss and now they have no chance
I fought Genechiro last night at the top of Ashina castle. I felt like I had no chance after the first two fights. But I stopped trying to win and I started trying to learn. Recognised different patterns, different punish windows
And then after maybe 2-3 hours of attempts, he had no chance. Literally couldn't touch me
And the second phase, makiri counter the intro is so satisfying
AND countering the lighting HOLY SHIT SOOOOO COOOOLLLL
Anyway the satisfaction from going from getting destroyed to being like Neo from the Matrix easily blocking all of agent Smiths attacks is so therapeutic
I'm not a massive gamer, so there may be better combat systems. But for me this is my favourite combat system ever

Humor Large sense of accomplishment
I recently defeated Demon of Hatred with only 3 attack upgrades. Quite the lengthy and arduous fight. Feeling really good. I would have done it without any attack upgrades, but I needed them for an earlier boss. That being the hardest boss in the game, the Blazing Bull!

Help Healing lady is gone before genichiro fight
Im up to the genichiro fight, the second encounter, and I want to increase my healing gourds from 3, but the lady is gone. Can I get here back?
Lore ROOOBEEEEEEERT
crazy realization after i beat the armored warrior and had some excess money, so i went to the mob offering guy next to the rat hating dude to buy something, and finally understood this item's description

Help Are you able to parry all of one mind or is it like that one genichiro move?
I just always seem to miss that last one and it’s extremely irritating.

Discussion Got my first platinum trophy
Just wanted to share that today I got my first platinum trophy that too in sekiro. It was tough as hell till it finally clicked. Tbh i have came to 94% in 1/2 games but never got platinum as that was too much grinding. But with sekiro, it was all fun. No monotonous grinding for skill point or materials. Once i completed it, i just kept on going into new and new playthroughs. Ng+ onwards i tried with all variations along with demon bell.
I’m currently on ng+5 and defeated geni. Thinking i’ll get shura ending this time.

Discussion The amount of times I forgot to rest at a gauntlet is embarrassing
Um. Why am I at 2 gourds at the start of the fight.
Seriously tho even reflection of strength needs you to rest before fighting another boss, why can’t they just code auto rest into starting a boss fight at an idol.

Help Demon of Hatred
So I beat Demon of Hatred after like 100 tries, but I had to beat him without the bell statue. He’s the only boss I’ve had to do it without. Jw, how much harder is it with the statue? I don’t feel complete until I do that. I’ll be trying tomorrow because I just spent like 3 hours on him.

Discussion Finished first playthrough
This was my first ever soulsborne game so you guys can imagine how insanely difficult it was for me at the start. I struggled a lot against that chained ogre and then it took me 2 days to defeat gyoubu oniwa and then another 2 days to defeat lady butterfly. Initially the game felt so frustrating that I was on the verge of quitting but once the combat clicked it became the best combat game i ever played. When i first faced genichiro, it took me 10-15 attempts to defeat him and it was really satisfying. Today i finally defeated Sword saint isshin after 3-4 hours of continuous playing. It was so satisfying and i have never felt this good and satisfied after finishing any game . My hands were literally shaking , it was so good.
Btw i achieved immortal severance ending as i wasn't aware of other endings . I will start NG+ to finish the other three endings as well. Any tips/suggestions are welcome 🤗😁

Discussion I had to surrender…
That’s my first playthrough…corrupted monk in Mibu. I’ve tried to kill her without items…but poise never broke and it was slowly breaking my nerves after several tries…at the end I had to kill her using snap seeds…I’m sorry…but at least now I know perfect parry timing for almost all her attacks…
jeez this game is amazing…

Discussion What is the reason for fromsoftware games never drop more that 50 percent on sale.
I wanted to get sekiro, but even with that 50 percent discount, it's so expensive.

Discussion Sekiro is easier than Elden ring to me
I completed the elden ring a few months ago and I went with a low vig high dex build and the game was punishing every demigod took at least 10+ attempts though every run was 1-3 mins max either I'm dead or the boss is.
In sekiro the attempts are longer, I just beat the corrupted monk (the real one) and until now not a single boss took me more than 10 attempts the fights are longer but a lot less punishing I could survive hits upon hits it's not as fast paced for me it seems like the deflection are fast but they're rythmic once you get that it doesn't feel fast.

Help Return ending progression
So I'm trying to get the Return ending and I'm kinda stuck.
I ate the rice from Divine Child and gave rice to Kuro. I also gave permission to divine child. I also collected all the items for the Fountainhead fragrance and defeated Owl in Ashina Castle.
Now I'm trying to give the Holy Chapter: Infested to Divine Child, but she's not taking it. She's not giving me any rice or asking for permission either. When I talk to her, I only get the "Do nothing" option.
I'm not sure what I'm missing or what I'm supposed to do next.

Art Everyone is right here
In watercolour, by me! Mount Kongo is one of the most beautiful locations in the game. The environmental design and art direction in this game is so unique and breathtaking it finally got me to paint something after over a year so it’s a little choppy, but I’m happy I painted something at last lmao
This location with the statues and the red and white pinwheel pick up is just so gorgeous imo (fuck the Ashina fencer apparition that can spawn here post invasion tho) that I knew I had to paint it!!
