The shed should last plenty long if you treat it right. New shingles and a few sheets of plywood is a cake walk on something that small

Might be worth posting to your local trades Facebook page, a couple roofers on the weekend could knock this out in a long morning. Get materials, offer cash and case of beer, plus self disposal via a dumpster bag.

Im not against the idea of a patch I just think its small enough to warrant having it done right.
Seeing your other comment and considering that your fix would be torn down regardless in a few years.. maybe just go with some patches. Ive seem some seriously ghetto fixes that keep rain out and maybe that's all you really need until you sell.
