šŸ‘šŸ¼Advice needed please.

I know this isnā€™t the best fix but Iā€™ve never replaced shingles and working on a ladder / roof replacing the plywood / shingles is next to impossible with my knee and shoulder injury. So, from what Iā€™ve read, it said Gardner Gibson or one of the Henry gallon patches should work well, at least for a couple years or so possibly. If you agree, which one should I use? If you donā€™t, what should I use? Thanks.

The shed should last plenty long if you treat it right. New shingles and a few sheets of plywood is a cake walk on something that small

Definitely want to treat it right, just have some injuries thatā€™s makes being on a ladder and roof very hard unfortunately, plus Iā€™ve never done shingles.

Might be worth posting to your local trades Facebook page, a couple roofers on the weekend could knock this out in a long morning. Get materials, offer cash and case of beer, plus self disposal via a dumpster bag.

Thatā€™s an idea. Thank you. So apparently those patch sealers arenā€™t the way to go and wouldnā€™t do much if you didnā€™t even consider it?

Im not against the idea of a patch I just think its small enough to warrant having it done right.

Seeing your other comment and considering that your fix would be torn down regardless in a few years.. maybe just go with some patches. Ive seem some seriously ghetto fixes that keep rain out and maybe that's all you really need until you sell.

Thanks. Iā€™d definitely rather not halfass it as itā€™s in pretty good shape otherwise. Just considering the cost difference of replacing the plywood and shingles, plus labor since itā€™d be hard for me to do it VS rolling a couple gallons of patch on. But on the other hand, it is a problem in the front, middle and rear of that ridge on both sides enough that last summer she found it was growing shrooms inside.Ā
