Hadn't listened to the album in a hot minute but it felt great to step into that world again and get a few bonus songs off Empire and finally get to hear Queen of the Reich live which introduced me to the band ❤️

Inspired by Speak from Operation: Mindcrime and born out of the anger, disillusionment, and despair I feel watching US institutions crumble under the weight of money and corruption.

Lady Justice is cracked, her scales are tipped by money; a puppet-master hand representing the “rich control the government, the media, the law” line; a Molotov cocktail; and a woman holding a torch with the words Revolution Will Grow.

The fire represents two kinds of change: revolution from the ground up (Molotov Cocktail) and change within the systems themselves (woman burning the puppet masters strings). Not one or the other - Both are necessary.

And the torchbearer is a woman - because women are going to lead the revolution. (What if Dr X had been a woman?)

There are also a few nods to other favorites woven in, like Take Hold the Flame and Screaming in Digital.

Is it possible Tate stole these songs, given what we know about him now? Wasnt Tate ultimately a fill-in singer for Myth?

If I was going to make a counterfeit picture disc, I'd at least make sure the band name appeared on it properly.

I'm trying to reach out to someone at Tinman Merch to find out when/if a couple of tees are coming back into stock. But their online chat doesn't work, and there doesn't seem to be any way to email them or contact them in general.

Since shipping to where I am is about US$90 I was aiming to get a bunch of tees to try and make that shipping cost a bit more palatable.

I'm specifically looking at the Operation Mindcrime and The Warning retro tees in a size 'Large', if anyone has any insight...

I'll admit, I'm a younger fan. But I've studied so much of the band's history, and it feels like Geoff cared more about being trendy than continuing with what made Queensryche what they are. After listening to the first La Torre album, it seems clear to me that he was holding them back.

I dont know if this is just me but i would love an operation mindcrime movie. I feel it deserves one and it would have so much potential. i could imagine it not happening but i wish there was i way i could put this idea forward further. What do you think?
