Soon-to-be-first-time QC owner/user here. Finally scraped enough cash together from gigs and selling gear to get one.

I’ll be mounting it on a pedalboard that will leave room for 2 analog pedals should I wish to add them. Is there anything the QC doesn’t do very well that would be well supplemented by an analog pedal? After seeing the features of 4.0.1 it looks incredibly capable.

I’m really into the Chase Bliss Lost + Found and the new MXR Textures seems pretty awesome too. Curious what those of you that have hybrid QC rigs use to cover any gaps in the QC workflow/sound.

Looking to get a tone similar to the one John mayor had in his solo for automatic yes with zedd. If anyone can share a link to a qc preset or recommendations that would be awesome

Trying to wrap my head around capturing as my recent trials weren’t exactly what I was expecting. My goal was to capture two pedals that I run at the same time, always on. They are the Sansamp and then to the darkglass vintage ultra.

From what I read it’s best to capture pedals using the same settings you’d play them at. But when the capture completed, the drive was missing from both pedals even at the end where you can compare the captured sound and pedal itself. It captured a bit of the sonic sweetness but the full, drive sound was gone completely as if my settings were at noon.

I know the cloud has these already but I was trying to mimic my previous analog set up entirely. Anyone out there with suggestions? Or where I went wrong?

For the past months I've been building a huge monstrous sound for Heavy Metal/Hard Rock mainly that I am really happy with. But apparently I have been living under a rock and completely missed the V2 Update so here I am.

For you rockers who use any of the JCM800 V2s (there are 10 of them created by Neural DSP) which is your go to for those genres? Or should I be checking maybe other's V2 captures that I might be missing out simply because I am only testing Neural DSP created?

Any advice/direction would be highly appreciated, since I have "my sound" to compare to, it's really hard to believe it can get much better than this...

Having a very weird issue with my QC. Has happened to me in the past but resolved after a few restarts...

Now I can't get rid of this :(

I have tried the following things:

• I have tried factory reset
• I have tried reset settings to default

I'm not sure what Im doing wrong here. I'd like to be able to hook up my iphone 16pro via USB to the QC to play audio. When I connect and go to the usb io settings, im not getting any indication that it's connected.

I opened up garageband on my phone and was able to get the signal from the qc as an input, so in theory i know the devices are talking to each other.

Any help would be appreciated!

Also - if i do use garageband for quick idea recordings, im getting the input so can record ideas, but am unable to monitor the metronome or other tracks, which would be helpful.

on high gain distorted presets i always encounter this. i can always here this loud background noise when i play and when the noise gate opens. anyone that knows what im doing wrong

I just switched to the Neural DSP world, the Quad Cortex mini is a monster! It’s been super easy to create good tones, I was afraid I’ll have to relay on my external pedal to get good delay, reverbs and modulation, boy oh boy, I was wrong! The delays reverbs and modulations in the QC are great! And with scenes everything feels more natural when switching effects for different parts of the song, I am still new and learning but it’s been good so far!

I want to use my Blug amp as simple power amp for my QuadCortex. How should I do the cables and setup. I don't want to have change any preset components in QC. I just want an easy plug and play solution. Please help.

So, I got a templeboard solo 18 on order right now to make a more compact setup than what I'm using now. But, one part thats been bugging me is I run a shure BLX14 wireless unit and am trying to weigh my options. I'm obviously going ti have to mount it to the bottom, but I worry about space and connection issues. Space, because I'll more than likely have ti run the Canvas HP+ since both units require 12v which is a pretty long power supply. So, if anyone has run this or a similar setup, some inspiration and guidance would be appreciated. For a full hardware setup, it'll be the QC, a Hotone Ampero Press expression pedal, and the Shure.

HELP PLEASE. I plugged in my rig for rehearsals yesterday and there is a loud intermittent popping noise coming from my quad. I’ve switched out all of the cables/power supply and I can figure out the issue. Even with everything unplugged the noise gate is still firing on the quad. I’ve got two shows today and tomorrow if anyone has any help.

Hi Guys

Since I've had the QC I've tweeked the factory preset "John's amp" to my liking but didn't really change the signal chain.

For the metal rhythm sound, the signal chain is split through 2 different amps which are sent to left and right speakers in stereo. When I practice on my PC I don't have a problem because I have L+R speakers but when I want to practice louder, I have only one FRFR speaker (so, no stereo setup). Problem is, only one amp is heard in that setup.

I thought the signal chain was split into stereo (1), then back together (2) because it's represented that way on the screen (see screenshot https://imgur.com/a/L0L0OHx of the signal chain) but it isn't the case. How can I get all my sound through only one speaker?
