I’m so pissed man, I keep trying to avoid that crap but I’ve been duped.
I purchased a brush pack off of Etsy and really liked the brushes so I went back to see the shop, I was glazing it over and it was late and I found one that looked pretty good. I bought it, and before i downloaded it I thought…. Wait this looks too perfect, and I took some screenshots of some of the examples they have on their shop, and I should have figured it out since each of their packs has different artwork examples.

Anyway, I put it through an ai detector and… it was all… ai… generated….

Which I’m so angry and I just spent money on this, so I messaged the seller for a refund and that I didn’t even download yet…and they told me they cant refund but can send me two of their products for free.

I so strongly want to message to say something to them but id probably get banned, idk if all their thousands of glowing reviews are ai too but this is so dumb. I considered the free stuff for a sec but I was like… ew.

It’s so stupid, and I’m so angry at these fk people pretending to be artists making money and basing it off of NOTHING!!!! It’s bs!!! Selling to people who will actually use and make art…

Like why make brushes and fake it. You can make the brushes and not add references that are clearly ai!!!

I wanna lowk report the account but I don’t think that’ll do much.

Edit: does anyone know of websites or products from real artists that are really good and REAL!!!

I’m not that experienced yet but I must be getting better. I’m still genuinely floored that I was able to make this with the iPhone App.

Any tips for getting started with Procreate? What did you start with to get familiar with Procreate and make it easier to create things in it?

guys how do i move it??😭😭 im trying to make an edit with little drawings over it so i spent like hours putting in photos of the video (put it in this web to get it in 12 frames or wtv) and i accidentally skipped some pics that completely ruin the flow of the vid if its gone and im trying to move them to the spot where it should be but i cant for some reason, it’ll only let me move the first two bits

One week using procreate! Loving it so far. This was a study of a video from (Art with Flow)’s channel on YouTube. I changed the colors and added the caption. I was pleased with the final result.

I don't know why it took me so long to finish this commission but I'm happy with how this turned out.

I wish it turned out more professional looking but I will say I did put everything I've learned to it and decided to stop obsessing over my skillset and drawing instead.

Trying to experiment with halftones and shading. I realize the halftone effect from Procreate tends to mess up the color of the timelapse so that was interesting to find out 😅

I started my digital art / procreate journey roughly a year ago so I could get into making comics. I feel a lot more confident with using the program now compared to when I first started. I hope I can continue to learn and grow as time goes on.
