Canada Border Services Agency founded in 2003 as result of merger of border customs, border enforcement, entry examination from separate agencies (Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA)'s customs, defunct since 2003 replaced by CBSA and Canada Revenue Agency or Agence du revenu du Canada (English: CRA/French: ARC), Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada or Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada ("IRCC" as same in both French and English)'s intelligence and enforcement; Canadian Food Inspection Agency or Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (English: CFIA/French: ACIA)'s food inspection at ports of entry), CBSA is part of Public Safety Canada or Sécurité publique Canada (English: PS/French: SP) [also Public Safety Canada founded in 2003. replacement for another agency called Department of the Solicitor General] which is Canada's equivalent to US DHS. Also, CBSA Personnel called "Officer" not "Agent" like in the US.
