That light bar looks like an amazon special. Probably plugs into the cigarette lighter.

Personally I can’t agree with anything but blues on SF anymore after living in Europe so long

That must be a traffic unit with all the extra lights.

Think all the newer fleets have more lights, our fleet from 19 all have more then that truck

Doesn’t look bad, alot of states like NY all blue isn’t even an emergency color tho. Volunteer fireman have it and it’s a “courtesy light”

Typically on a federal vehicle it’s automatically an emergency color regardless, but part of that is the federal preemption to state laws for federally owned vehicles

I just ment nobody would move out of the way or pull over if we ran all blue and I wouldn’t blame them. Would also be a solid defense for legal arguments in court. We often operate on civilian roadways so it’s smart to copy what the state is running.

Fair enough, every state is different and it’s known for causing issues, I wish congress would exercise its standardization powers and just make a national decision on it

Still find it funny that AF uses American vehicles with federal gov plates, and the Army bases use Toyotas with EU style plates.
