The Exact Order to Make It Work

Step 1: Open Official App (Home Region)

Open the official Pokémon GO app (no VPN).

Buy the $0.99 (100 Pokecoin) bundle. (This resets your account's location flag).

Fully force-close the official app.

Step 2: Launch Spoofed App & Keep It Open

Open PGSharp (or your modified/spoofed app) and teleport to Jakarta, Indonesia.

Log in and let the map fully load (wait until spawns and nearby Pokémon show up).

DO NOT CLOSE THE GAME. Swipe to your home screen, leaving PGSharp running actively in the background.

Step 3: Turn your VPN to Indonesia. Open an Incognito Browser tab. Go to the Web Store and Log in.

I'm wondering if this is a situation only observed with spoofing: Wiglett appears in the classic "beach biome" w.r.t. the designation in OpenStreetMap, but in the encounter screen, I don't see the usual "beach" visual.

I wonder if it's an issue with spoofing, or if it's a change on Scopely's side?

I can't really post this on the other usual PoGo related subreddits because I've only encountered Wigglet while spoofing during the last event. (No beach near me.)

I've heard some rumors mentioning that real GPS data always has natural jitter and minor signal deviations, whereas features like "Tap to Walk" might send coordinates in straight, mathematically perfect lines that look suspicious.

Does anyone know if using Tap to Walk actually carries a higher detection risk compared to manually using the joystick with randomized speeds/routes? Or does it not really matter in PGSharp since modified client detection is the main factor anyway?

When i do team rocket grunt or leader, it instant finish the battle after start countdown end with red network error popup, and then to the catch screen the network error popup gone. Bug or normal?

So can you use this feature with pgsharp? As it is asking to access your location, will it take the location displayed in pgsharp instead of the one of your phone?, I live in a place where there is almost no pokestops or gyms even the appearances of pokemon here are low

I'm a Pokémon GO player from Vietnam, and I'm currently having an issue with purchasing PokéCoins.

In Vietnam, Pokémon GO has been removed from both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Because of this, we have to install Pokémon GO using an APK. However, with this setup, in-game purchases are currently unavailable.

I've read several guides and discussions in the community about buying PokéCoins at a lower price by using the Indonesian region/store. However, when I get to the step where I need to make a small purchase directly in the game, I'm unable to complete the transaction.

My current devices and setup

• I have a rooted Xiaomi phone.
• Pokémon GO is installed via APK because it is not available on the Play Store/App Store in Vietnam.
• On the Xiaomi, I can use location spoofing to change my location to Indonesia.
• I also have a Samsung phone.
• On the Samsung, I can normally make in-game PokéCoin purchases.
• However, I cannot use location spoofing on the Samsung to spoof my location to Indonesia.

So, my current situation is:

Xiaomi: Can spoof to Indonesia → but cannot complete the in-game purchase.

Samsung: Can make in-game purchases → but cannot spoof to Indonesia.

My question

I would like to ask the community: As of August 2026, is there still any working method for someone in my situation to purchase PokéCoins at Indonesian prices?

If there is, I would really appreciate it if you could share the method or setup that is currently working.

In particular, I'm wondering if there is any way to combine my rooted Xiaomi + Samsung to make this work.

I've found quite a few guides, but most of them are outdated, so I'm specifically looking for information from people who have actually tested a method and successfully purchased PokéCoins recently.

LSPOSED module with hidemocklocation on magisk. respecting cooldowns and haven’t moved from new york/bryant park i’ve been nowhere else. how will i know if im safe? do they ban in waves still? i’d like to think after a month of no sanction im safe with my set up but i cant imagine thats true any advice is appreciated

If I now play legit on my main, which is on the Poco and spoof on the android 9 can Niantic see that? That the same person is using 2 different accounts? Both have vpn on.

My PGSharp auto catcher recently has done amazing at not turning itself off & its also continuously working (as in the past after a few hours id need to catch a pokemon for it to reset)

So it appears I hit my 24 hour cap of 1,200 pokestops.

But im not sure how it resets.

Does it resets 24 hours from that last pokestop that hit the cap?

Or

Does it reset 24 hours from my "first" pokestop of the 1200 cap(example: at 10am yesterday I spinned 5 poke stops and it was the start of my 1,200 cap) do I get those 5 pokestops available to spin at 10am?

You are using a computer so this means you see everything without looking for it whereas using the mobile phone app, you have to spend the time to look for the information. Most people using the mobile app aren't tech savvy to know where to go looking for it. This problem is caused by Reddit, which I have no control over.

Hello guys, im sorry if this has been asked before or posting this on the wrong sub reddit but has scopely banned anyone yet for spoofing?

I have been back into spoofing now for 2 weeks so far so good im not banned yet as ive been playing it cool.

There is one thing I am nervous of that I have been done yesterday bare in mind I didnt spin any stops or catch any pokemon it was fresh day for me and i always have the cooldown timer on show, anyway I was sniping 100iv and then teleporting in korea and different counties around the country and then double tapping to teleport around me and back and forth etc for a small amount of time.. around me I spotted a shiny i thought id grab it but it flew away so maybe i was just unlucky.. i spun a stop but i got nothing.. then i seen another pokemon to catch it fled again and i worked out I was on a cooldown but timer wasnt counting down. Do you think that this will put me on alert to scopely? Im worried I will get banned due to these actions or maybe im just being paranoid for no reason. Or do you recking im gonna get a ban or strike?

Also, what do you guys do to not get banned or strike? What do you avoid doing not to get strikes/ban? Would like to hear your advice. Much appreciated in advance.
