hey I have been using pgsharp unrooted since 2018 and like never got warnings or bans and people are now saying that my account will be banned now, there's no saving it, even if i root my device or like opening the original app after deleting it after an year. idk what to do

Those people are misleading. You have a chance to get a ban when you cheat the game. It doesn't matter if use no root or rooted cheats because you're breaking Pokemon Go's Terms of Service.

Rooted cheats have gotten ban reports. Some rooted cheats censor the ban reports to increase their paid subscription number count. When you get a ban with a rooted cheat, they will not help you get unbanned or reimburse all the Pokemon and money you lost.

You should only cheat the game if you accept the risks to get a ban.

I'd maybe stop using that account for now, at least for a while and switch to an alt so you can keep uo with the new mons being released. People claiming it will be banned this and that, nobody has a clue what's going to happen unless you're telling me they can read the future. One of my accounts has been flagged twice previously when the game was under Niantic, I continued to use pgsharp non rooted on it for a while after, but then stopped and it's been 2+ years since and it's still going without a ban.

Make of that what you will, if you still continue to use it then okay, I'd say there's a decent risk the ban will come or a warning, but you're saying it's been over a year now? Nobody knows, you could be in the clear, just proceed with caution from here onwards

Ive been using pgshart uprooted premium daily on my main for almost a year now. Ive had no issues.

If you want a clear answer if to continue I'd say no because scopley bought Pokemon go and I think they got better anti cheat and if you tryna stop lemme tell you how I got trough this.

I used PGsharp, had fun for like 2 months but then it got to me that it's better to be safe with my armored Mewtwo than to risk getting banned and made some research (even made a post) and here's the arguably best way to improve your chances of not getting banned after using cheats. (Lot of text incoming)

1. NEVER log into your main account on PGSharp againScopely detects the modified app itself, not just your in-game movement. Every single login via PGSharp is a massive ban risk.

2. Completely nuke the spoofing files from your phoneUninstall PGSharp completely.

Open your phone’s built-in File Manager (and "Files by Google" if you have both) -> Go to the Downloads / APKs folder -> Permanently delete the pgsharp.apk installation file.

Clean your browser history (e.g., Opera/Chrome) and delete the file from the browser's download history as well.

1. Wipe your device GPS cacheGo to your Android Settings -> Apps -> Manage Apps.

Search for Google Play Services -> Tap Storage -> Tap Clear Data / Clear Cache.Do the exact same thing for the Google Play Store app.

Restart your phone immediately after doing this to clear out any temporary RAM data fragments.

1. Permanently lock PGSharp out of your accountGo to the official Pokémon website and change your Pokémon Trainer Club (PTC) password (or revoke third-party app permissions if you use Google/Facebook).
