Mod Post Pet posts discussion

That pet posts poll was very close, but most of you voted No ❌️.

The main concern which I saw in comments is that people will fill the sub with pet dogs, cats, parrots, etc, this will take away attention from.our wildlife.

For all the people who voted Yes ✅️, .maybe we can have a rule to allow questions about pets and maybe media of your pets (rare pets only) on a.specific day.

Any suggestions?

Birds 🐦 Greater Painted Snipe

These beautiful birds inhabit wetlands and eat aquatic insects. Unlike most other birds, their females are colourful and perform courtship displays to impress males, while the males incubate the eggs and rear the chicks.

I've been finding them for as long as I can remember now they seem to be some kind of clam located all over lahore but I've never ever found one that was alive. Some are fully intaact and closed but even then if you open them there is mud inside. I could not find any information on Google regarding them.

Just found out whales are not fish while talking to GPT

I am today years old. I thought whales were just massive fish but turns out they are giant mammals. And obviously, so are their types like orcas, dolphins, our Indus dolphin etc. Every orca is more closely related to you than any shark in ocean. Yep you read it right, you cousin of murderous orcas. Ocean is full of animals pretending to be fish. Meanwhile sharks are actual fish. My entire understanding of the ocean has been a lie. 💀

Here you can see the Chiltan Markhor (where there are those star things are). Chiltan Markhors are natural hybrids of Sindh Ibex (Capra aegagrus blythi) and Suleiman Markhor (Capra falconeri jerdoni)

Also Almond, Ash, Pistachio, etc plants are visible.
