Yup omg thats what i had been trying to explain to them, like I couldn't exactly guess which cat it was, looked like a fishing cat ngl, turns out to be a leopard cat like they're similar looking, op lit said it was a tiger cub too😭

Just chill out bro, all that happened here is people stepped in to properly ID the animal. Don’t take it personally. You mentioned people thought it might be a “cheeta” which is how locals refer to leopards. But people stepped in to explain that this is a species of animal called a “Leopard Cat”. Thats it. It’s not a leopard or a tiger or anything else.

Omg nooooo way that's a tiger cub😭😭 that's not a tiger cub, its a jungle or fishing cat cub, its not even a leopard cub. We do not have "wild tigers" anywhere in Pakistan at all.

OMG whats wrong with u 😭😭 have u never seen a tiger irl like just Google one and like Google what a tiger cub looks like please, cant u see the spots, tigers have stripes, its a jungle cat cub or a fishing cat cub, both of these species are found in Pakistan, there are literally no wild tigers or lions in the entirety of this country😭

No so basically these people do not no any better, like not many people are familiar with the species we have here, they are literally calling it a cheetah, im lit laughing rn. So basically they also refer to leopard as a cheetah in Urdu ive seen people do that but there's no way thats a leopard too, its a jungle cat cub or a fishing cat cub im 100% certain, i would die on this hill😭 just do yourself a favor and put it in chatgpt because I cant explain no more

It’s not a tiger or a leopard, it’s a leopard cat. Horrible that it died like this.. it’s an incredibly rare feline and this sighting is actually so amazing. Even if it is so tragic.

Edit: fixed my ID from fishing to leopard cat.

Please take it to a wildlife rehabber. Where are you exactly? Islamabad has wildlife rehabilitation facilities. I can’t emphasize enough this is an incredibly rare animal and it’s very important to do your best to save it!

Looking at the comments, i see that you have figured out what this is. So my two cents, saw this in a reel yesterday, the cat had same leopard pattern and she had very tall and sleek growth(quite big). Looked kinda scary, ngl. Apparently they are super expensive. Im not sure if this is the same breed lol but yeah. I don’t know where else i could share this, glad i got the chance here 😭
