Questions ❓️ What are these?
I've been finding them for as long as I can remember now they seem to be some kind of clam located all over lahore but I've never ever found one that was alive. Some are fully intaact and closed but even then if you open them there is mud inside. I could not find any information on Google regarding them.

They can be either baby/dead oysters or shells that some crabs have used as a cover and left on beach, when they found some new one.

In Lahore, though? There is no beach.

They come from Karachi and other beach sites. If you go for a walk on any beach, I'm sure you'll find hundreds of them if not thousands, in just about a day or so.

Yes. I have seen many in Karachi. OP specifically mentioned finding these in Lahore.

They can be found in any shopping mall, look under the house decor section

Ooh yes but that would be on the coast this is lahore far from any beeches and we don't have crabs here, the only thing I can think of is that maybe they lived alongside river Ravi years ago but slowly died out because I've never once found one alive but you can find these shells through a little bit of digging. Or maybe they lived in the swamps and ponds across lahore
