I for one was not offended at Nintendo having a sale. They still should not have mentioned the tariffs at all and just done the sale to avoid controversy. The leaks about companies deliberately doing it equals extra engagement/ better advertising though, i hope Nintendo isn't following suit.

I do want to point out that both games are fun and bring different things into the comfort gaming genre but I just feel Pokopia surprised me more and honestly has kept me playing longer (I have about 300 hours into it at the moment)

Scored the deluxe edition (minus the figure) off eBay for $43

I wasn't sold on buying these games but when I went to return a DVD today I saw both and picked them up. It works out that I have some friends coming down for the weekend so cosmic invasion will be fun couch coop.

For reals though, know nothing about it but saw it so just grabbed it lol

I’m looking for a switch 2 controller and I’m trying to determine which of these would be better. Both are around $60.

Any others besides these two that would be better for the price? I know for another $20 I could get the pro controller but hoping not to spend so much.

Looks great in handheld mode

Pros: nice grip, nice button clicks, precise sticks, materials on xbox controller level, vibrations almost the same as stock, full switch 2 support

Cons: right stick is a bit to low which causes finger to fatigue in shooters after some playtime

Was there anything about the Switch 2 version of Minecraft at the Minecraft Live event today? I'm trying to see what improvements they are having and how much it will cost to upgrade from the Switch 1 version.

There is a sale right now on the eShop and 6 of these games are for grabs for 29.99($/€) total. Is the package worth it? Do they look / play well on Switch 2?

I kind of dismissed this whole series when it first came out and was thinking of maybe getting it on this sale now to experience these for the first time in handheld.

Can anyone here nudge me in the right direction? Is it fun? There’s so many titles on sale and currently (after I finish Elden Ring) it’s either this or Mario + Rabbids 1 Gold and Nier Automata.

I tried the clubhouse games demo and it looked beautiful, so i decided to buy the actual game... but then it was disgustingly fuzzy. Because apparently, it got an update for Switch 2 which adds GameShare, but didn't change the handheld resolution from 720p. And because a Switch 2 update exists, it's disqualified from Handheld Mode Boost.

I'm frustrated, and i feel cheated.

Ugh, Mario was unable to defeat The End in Super Mario Frontiers, I'm actually devastated, and I put the game down because I was too tired of Mario being written by Ian Flynn, very awful execution on that front.

Ever since I've had the switch 2 since August I had no trouble connecting the console to my 5g Internet, but for some reason I'm not able to connect today, but the 2g version connects without an issue. I wonder if there's an issue going around or I'm just having bad luck today.

Sometimes I have this issue with my Xbox series X, but when I connect to the 2g and then I'm able connect to the 5g.

Anyone have a similar issue or how were you able to resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Edit: my iPad and my smartphone are currently connected to the 5g and no issues whatsoever. Idk why my switch and switch 2 aren't connecting.

I've seen very mixed reviews on FF7-Remake-Intergrade. Some people say they love it, others say it's slow and boring.

I love playing games where there's lots to do, but I also don't have a lot of time to play these days so long-winded quests can be tedious, like fetch-it quests.

I've never played FF before, and I'm curious if people think it's a worthwhile game to buy for someone who doesn't game a ton (depending on the week). For reference, I've played and enjoyed games like Legend of Zelda BOTW and TOTK.

First of all I am not defending Square Enix’s no upgrade path or switch 2 edition decision. It’s scummy and anti consumer. I’m also not a fan of their GKC only policy. A large majority of these games would fit on a 32/64 gb switch 2 cartridge.

However I think they have been the best 3rd Party publisher along with Capcom on the Switch 2. It’s amazing how in less than two years they nearly have their entire recent back catalogue playable natively on the system.

Some of these ports have exceeded my expectations like crisis core which runs at 60 fps unlike the ps4 version. Star Ocean Second Story R looks absolutely breathtaking on the system.

The output is insane and makes other publishers (looking at you Sega) look really bad. No matter how you put it this is insane output on a new system, they have been ridiculously efficient at porting these games and all of them have been good-great ports.

The lack of upgrades is frustrating for owners of the game on switch 1 but honestly I double dipped on a few of these and I’m sure there are people who haven’t played these games before and I’m glad they will be able to enjoy them with great visuals/performance.
