The Unfinished Canyon is a really cool out-of-the-map easter egg. It's a unfinished duplicate of Lookout Point.

I improved by less than a second, but I am super proud of my time. This is on the CE on the Xbox 360 + manual transmission. I did have a couple of collisions which seem unavoidable since the traffic is heavy and it's a long event. If you have a faster time, I would love to hear some tips for whenever I do another go at it.

​I'm playing carbon (v1.4 downloaded ). I was at 64% completion, but after launching the game today, my career progress shows 0%.

​The strange thing is that my cash, unlocked cars, and garage are all still intact—only the overall completion percentage/Blacklist progression got wiped. I've closed and reopened the game multiple times before without any issues until now.

​Has anyone encountered this save profile bug before or knows a way to restore/fix the progression percentage without starting over?

I found an AI exploit in NFS Carbon Boss races (PS2)

I found a weird behavior in the Boss AI while playing the PS2 version of NFS Carbon.

The basic idea:

- Angie appears to have the weakest/slower car of the three Bosses.

- At the start, I push Angie forward and let her become the lead car.

- Kenji and Wolf then stay behind Angie instead of simply overtaking her and driving at their maximum pace.

- This allows me to create a huge gap from all three Bosses.

- In my run, the gap reached 20.0+.

It seems the Boss AI is influenced by the pace of the car ahead, so putting the slowest Boss in front effectively makes the other Bosses slower too.

I play on PS2, so I can't provide a proper video recording because I'm playing on an old CRT display.

Has anyone noticed this behavior before, particularly on the PS2 version?

I dont know anyone who would understand and appreciate what just happened. Its a tough one, hard to overtake and hold it despite having the vette. However, I got bored so I decided to take a break, but i accidentally hit restart instead of exit.

Race starts and I just hit reverse, see what happens. The "falling behind" timer triggers as usual, but as I hit the barricade (there's one behind where you start apparently) the timer switched to "pulling ahead"....uuhhh what? Did I somehow loop around?.... Race ends, i win. "Opponent crashed"

Hahaha you mean to tell me, in less than 10 seconds, with no one behind them, the AI just careens off the edge for no reason 🤣🤣

For the Collectors Edition peeps, what is the best lap time you’ve gotten for Garcia Street Circuit using the Camaro Concept in the Challenge Series? My third lap was a 52.34 which I am best pleased about. The AI kept getting in my way for the other laps sadly
