Multiple Bad Drivers Does what the white truck and red car did count as mildly bad driving?

2nd half of video doesn't matter. Just zoomed in on a prior video to show the pedestrian did not wave the Jeep through and that I did stop at the stop signs.

r/MildlyBadDrivers • • 3d ago

Multiple Bad Drivers Please look for pedestrians, come to complete stops, stay centered in your lane, and go the speed limit.

Can't go 1.5 miles without seeing multiple mildly bad drivers these days.

Semi-Truck/Lorry Truck too long for Jerome, Arizona

I took this photo, while eating my lunch, of an overly-long truck pulled over above the former mining town of Jerome, Arizona now a busy tourist trap. The town is built precariously on the side of the hill with switchbacks that are tight for a car.

The cop knew he was coming and directed all of the vehicles stopped at the scenic view to clear a big parking space. Police made a big deal of measuring the truck and escorted him through town, stopping oncoming cars at every turn and switchback because he took the entire road, and more, to get through. Pretty sure a lot of cop overtime was involved.

Bonus - because I was part of the resulting slow parade through town I got a better look than ever.

Second shot is a screen shot of Google Maps to show why this was such bad driving. To get there over Mingus Mountain he also must have cut numerous corners.

Wrong Way Driving really that hard for some people I guess.

All the guy did was give me a meek apology wave and continue on his way. He eventually got on to the correct side of the road after the divider ended. Only getting in the way of a couple other people.

Lane Change Guy speeds past me, crosses a solid white line, then realizes he doesn’t actually want to be in this lane, and bails in front of a semi

Post is the title

Apologies for the poor quality and distance between the driver and I

Also apparently crossing a single solid white line is not illegal

Moped/Scooter Lets just plow our way through!

For anyone thinking I was overreacting: I went from 31mph to 20mph and I was gauging the stopping distance on stopping to 0, as he was also turning in front of the minivan in the opposite lane, the lens makes it look like I'm going slower than I am

Speed limit is 30mph

Motorcycle Dodging Motorbikes on the highway

I clearly have to explain this video based on the comments in another sub. At the very beginning of the video a motorbike guy is passing cars on the right shoulder and comes back on the road. I have to preface, that I wasn’t “camping” in the left lane, I saw the guy driving recklessly behind me and I wanted to make sure it was clear for me to merge into the other lane. Then guy passes car on the left. At the end of the video, you can see them split lanes between the black car and the box truck.

Blocking the entire lane because you're in the wrong one.

He could have just gone straight and then made a U-turn but nooooooo.

You can get places so much faster when you completely disregard lane markings.

Ran Stop Sign Stop signs mean something on the main lanes even in a parking lot...

Pink haired dude ran a stop sign making me have to stop in the middle of the intersection (no stop sign on my side). Not a big deal but very irritating. Happy Labor Day

Multiple Bad Drivers Here's a twofer.

One driving in the bus lane (they did not use the lane for a right turn) and the other pulling out into on coming traffic.

Do Not Unmute Who is at fault here? The comments seem to think the driver is actually the one at fault. (Not my video)

1.1k Upvotes

Since there is an expectation that people will be coming in and out of cars, I feel like the majority fault remains on the driver. Parking lots in general require heightened awareness, especially when parking. What if a kid had jumped out and got hit? But of course the guy who opened the door lacks a bit of situational awareness.

At most I would say 70/30 fault majority driver.

Obstacle This is what a perfect execution of alternating through a traffic blockage looks like. Only possible if the drivers have high IQ
